i think probably the STRONGEST point you got was the tone one. a common theme in your analysis was "[this post] is trying to figure something out" and i actually think scum will tend to poke and prod WITHOUT trying to take more swings than they have to probably bc it is so easy to impose a town motivation on it without it necessarily being there.
