When I checked my flavor it said that my character was a bad shot so I had to check the rules to see if they were bastard, since if they were I'd expect to be a blank vig.

I mean I've seen it too (and reviewed a game with a d1/d2 pair of scum dayvigs), but it's very very unusual, generally comes in games with worse than normal scum numbers and/or a lot of town power, and for the most part just isn't something that I'd expect. Also RC came into that game postgame and was bitching about how shitty it was to have a d1 scum dayvig, and firebringer was a losing town player in that, so just by mod meta I'd expect a scum d1 dayvig here to be pretty unlikely (if it was a PM shot I'd say 0% odds, but even doing it publicly I think is unlikely).

I also think that, in the reasonably likely event that it's multiball, that gamma flagrantly suicided if in fact he is scum, to the point where we're probably multiple night phases away form where we'd even want to worry about it (unless he's lying).

That's ok to stand and think SlySly is obviously town, and we're going to wait for him. I think forcing SlySly death (unless he claims a cleared slot), is perfectly ok. The worst case scenario is that someone sees they were wrong and we eliminate someone who has no business in lylo. If you think Gamma is scum, then forcing him to shoot SlySly effectively removes Gamma's day vig from his control to a choice that he had very little say in and helps town down the road.

Leave the Transcend read to me or Narna ok.

Nope, Gammas role doesn't confirm their alignment at all.

I actually think they're an SK now, with the dayvig as a way to give them the upper hand versus a single scum in lylo, allowing them to shoot them instead of trading shots in the night.

I'm okay with that though. *shrug* He can be leashed, and that works for me for the time being.
