MM's vote on me makes sense.

VOTE: EchoVision

Fluffing post-RVS does not.

P-edit: I understand you have one vote, but you completely ignored my post-RVS fluff. Why?
Three reasons:
*His came first (Your last fluff was during RVS, and you had a non-fluff post between it and your next fluff)
*You have posted non-fluff
*You are currently being engaged by other players, who may just sort you for me the way Fire did with Mario.

Fire declared his vote no longer RVS
I kept my RVS vote parked on him while I was showing in the Who's Online list

It's not much, but it's enough to make me want my vote off of him.

pedit: no, I did not notice that he was L-2, but I would have voted the same way anyways if I did.

Of course not! Why would I move my vote if I did?

Fire's announcement his vote was not RVS was the catalyst for Mario's vote on me
therefore I would not have a read on Mario if not for Fire
therefore Fire sorted Mario for me.

A bit frustrating, but I don't see anything with scum motivation in them.

I'm tempted to give McClish's methodology another go once we get some more pages and if I'm still alive, but it's only worked once for me so far.

what exactly is mcclishs methodology?
this

It worked quite well for me in Newbie 1549 but failed whenever else I tried it. Spectacularly, in the case of Open 506. I think I can make it work with a bit more refinement.

I do it by hand, and the more data there is to analyse, the more accurate it gets. I suppose I could run it next time I have the time to do it, if I wanted to spend hours coming up with a result not significantly distinct from random.

A bit late, I know, but I don't like this.

I
really
don't like this.

According to your own link, how that ended last time was lynching town. Remembering that should make you cautious, not confident.

I don't see any town motivation in this post, but there's one thing it does accomplish, if it works: Introducing fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

FUD is one of my favourite tactics as scum. FUD won Open 524 for me. (That's my favourite scumgame ever)

This needs lots and lots and lots of rope.

What's to address? I'm not buying the backpedalling. Up until I pointed out the FUD, you were phrasing your interaction with Wisdom like a threat. Threats generate FUD. FUD is good for scum and bad for town. It couldn't get any simpler.

Sure.
In post 184, BananaNSFW wrote:I have the feeling we are not going to get along in this game. Again. Do you remember how that ended last time?
Reads as "Bad thing happened. I can make bad thing happen again. Don't make me angry, Mr. McGee. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry"

A town reaction to seeing a possible repeat of a bad situation is to do
try to avoid doing it again
, not to threaten another player by saying you will do exactly the same thing.

The scum motivation, again, is spreading FUD. FUD makes people doubt themselves too much to be effective as town. FUD muddies the waters. FUD is the mind-killer.

Just to clarify, you scum read maker? However since nobody else scum reads maker you're putting Beli at L-1?? Seems too opportunistic to be town. Town here wants to draw the day out a little more to get more of a handle on the game, not get a possible mislynch.

Also why is my name on this post??
Before this game, I've been in exactly one game with Wisdom in which I was not scum, and in that game, we were both hydras and (IIRC) he was scum. For this reason, I consider Wisdom's tunnel on me to be not alignment indicative--it was most likely decided before role PMs went out.

Nevertheless, if I were going to live that long, I'm 100% confident I could have sorted Wisdom by mid-D2 even with little to no interaction with him, as long as he doesn't know how I'm doing it. The same trick will work in future games, until I'm forced to give away my method ^^
