You said it was warning off the scum from taking certain actions (or that was someone else). If I'm scum and that's the case, then obviously it's more advantageous to keep it in scumchat, since then town would not have as much preparedness regarding the plurality lynches. Basically what I did would be poor move information-wise if I were scum.

That one was me. I am saying that you making that statement publically this early made the entire point of your idea null. If you are town, the scum have seen it and will not behave like you are suggesting they will now. But, it would be easy for a townie to not think anything about doing it, allowing you an easy mislynch target based on this reasoning. It's a statement that provides your faction no benefit if you are town, but gives you a small benefit as scum in setting traps for mislynches.

This statement is the scummiest thing I've seen so far. You try to set the lynch for the day, as well as set up a lynch tomorrow between a few people if Gamma is town, but doing so without any solid scumreads so you can walk away from it clean.
