I typically give everyone a PM even if they are vanilla or a goon, I failed on that N2 and N3 - badmod
I was a bit drained because of things
THANKS THANKS!!! I am definitely a better mod than player (at least town player, I think my scumgame is pretty good)
my next game is a 17p large theme with very complex mechanics/roles
and I have about 5 more large themes mapped out after that one - I think I pretty much will only be modding large themes from now on (when I mod) - did the mini as a pre-req.balance among all things-

that was rewally well modded and great flavour.
i think that while we may not have looked particularly townie, we did a good job of pushing the right lynches through at the right times.
i also loved everyone just rolling with the redirection when we actually just straight up killed oldwinovonflare (21:40)

I'll probably run it after the MU tournament because Nacho + Tammy are going to give me feedback on it before I run it because I'm going to tweak it a bit (they played it on my HS - it was my first modded game) and I think will want to at least observe its 2nd iteration - this is why I don't share what my HS is, because I ran the game there and want to run it here closedbalance among all things-

it was good. didn't really get needed bc early claims but it couldve been a good answer to that problem. In post 2030, drealmerz7 wrote:what do you all think about the mechanic of the Ninja's not being able to be PGOd? kind of like a semi-BP effectvonflare (21:40)

Loved playing the game and loved the flavor. Will go back and read all the flavor, slowly.
Drixx had me completely fooled. And I really thought Dunn was scum until he claimed PGO.
Nero really was 'too scummy to be scum.' I derailed his wagon for good reason, but doing so probably hurt town in the long run. If we'd lynched him early, we'd have been able to turn our attention to others who were scum.
This was only my 5th game, but it was the first time I LIKED all the players and thought everyone was respectful and decent, even when lying through their teeth. Would like to play with any of you again. And loved the flavor and would like to play another of Drealmer's games again, when I think I can handle anything larger than this one.
GG all, especially Drixx.-

If only you started off with some sanity I WOULD have protected you on N1. You would have got the flavour to confirm it and we would have probably worked things out a bit better. Your tunnel on me then Tywin messed it all for me in particular, and forced me to protect SCUM, and Drixx REALLY did well (as I would expect from him always) by actually confirming me, thus practically bagging me in his back pocket.NOTpushing for your lynch after your hardclaim. That was a lie pushed by bad/confbiased town (Tywin and Zach, oldwinno?) and scum (Persi). Now true, I did say repeatedly that I thought you were 3rd party and I think that at one point that I even said something along the lines of "I wouldn't even consider lynching him until d4." On the other hand, it wasYOUthat continued to take potshots at me. Also why the fuck would townEVERthink is a 2v2v9 setup. That just didn't seems town at all. Like a 3v1 is way more plausible than a 2v2.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. pgo's are going to claim 'cause while there is utility in getting scum to target is there, the risk of being targeted by town and killing them is way to great. Its common practice on this site.In post 1992, drealmerz7 wrote:IMO town should never claim unprovoked - the PGOs claiming early just let scum stay away from them and guide them to better / safer kills
I was getting lynched anyways, like it did nothing but speed up d3 and I really didn't think there'dIMO town should never self-vote or fake-claimEVERbe 4 team scum in a mini and thus we'd have one more day.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. it makes no sense for PGOs to claim, it's like players think they are smarter than the mod? the mod should know what they're doing if they put PGOs in and balance accordingly (like I did with my 2xBP doc and ninja abilities that bypass the PGO - and amillion other ways)
otherwise what is the point at all of having a PGO in a game? if site meta is to just claim out of the gate it makes it a useless role and why put it in?
Slingshot, you were fine, just lurked a bit much, but I liked how you played for the most part and hope to see you around MS more (: glad I let you in!balance among all things-

lets say that a PGO is "scummy" and town targets them, they die. It's like a semi anti-town role.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. the ninja ability to bypass pgo makes sense and I guess its the fault of the pgos that claimed. But NORMALLY there is not any way to bypass PGO and town death is BAD BAD BADOf all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. Why the fuck would we desire a scapegoat?Nero Cain wrote:I'm a big boy, I can take it.but if you guysThe town played poorly as a wholeREEEEALLLYYYYneed someone to blame then I'm ok with it but this

The fakeclaim and self vote was a throw, confused shit and provided a decent advantage to scum.
Besides you I had good reads and most of the town did otherwise we just took way too much time resolving you and the Tywin lynch
I said I would take responsibility for your lynch and I did but you can't act as if you're taking blame for something general.
I don't know how I feel about 4 scum though-

I mean I agree that inTHISgame PGOs shouldn't have claimed put outside of this game PGO's should claim.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive.
