Flipless is different than Flipful.

Completely different requirements

Barring divine intervention of town levels of epic ness it is almost certainly better to have the discord and chaos to form reads. Dictating or stating a townblock in flipful Mafia imho can be pretty bad. This setup not as bad but yes I have a general distaste for them.

Caught Infinity immediately through VCA and a smudge of blocking and had four conf towns and it was PoE until I had to self hammer so rocks didn't fall.

Thank you! It's helpful to see it all put down in words. I think what you're seeing is mostly just personality. I am an unapologetically weird person and my early posting was basically just me not taking the game seriously at all. People who don't know me tend to call my emotion fake in games because I'm so over-the-top with it when I do really express it (and in this game early I was just being blatantly absurd even by my own standards), so I can appreciate that you might be seeing that. And... most of my catchup *was* fairly mindless? So you're not wrong there. But I absolutely have do not have the kind of scumgame where that kind of play would be acceptable to me (I take playing scum pretty seriously and just have no interest in being town, so that tends to show in my play) and I'm not the kind of player to panic as either alignment, so I think you're more just running into a lack of meta knowledge there.

As for Ari, he told me when the game was in signups that he wouldn't be able to be around much (if at all) for day 1 because of other commitments, he's VLA right now but he'll be slowly but surely catching up. I would never, ever use VLA strategically regardless of alignment so please do not even go near that. I was unwell IRL to the extent that I couldn't play. RL stays out of the game. Period. I have never and will never use RL to gain any sort of advantage in a game, that is flat-out unethical to me and tantamount to cheating.

I think at this point it's probably past the point where I'm going to get anything out of Gin so I'm just going to talk about this part of my read on the slot. I recently played a scumgame with Gin offsite where my MO was basically shitposting and fooling around because at that point I just didn't want to play mafia seriously on any level. I was taking a break from MS. And what I did there was basically sheep people all game as a meme (most of the time I was sheeping my scumbuds). So when Gin voted me after I was like OK Math I'll sheep you, I could see how maybe she would be reminded of how I played offsite and get scumvibes off it? But she refused to explain her vote so... I'm just not thinking that was actually why after all... especially considering she should know that the meta from that site wouldn't apply to MS. And by now she's seen me actually playing seriously in this game so I think we're beyond the point where it would've made sense from a town!Gin perspective to be scumreading me for that anyway.

Aronis, for help with your pagetop obsession: realize that, like every other meaningless thing we do in our speck of existence in the great scheme of things, getting a pagetop will do nothing to stop our freefall down the chasm of death and decay that we are merely born at the top of before being pushed off. And so it doesn't matter if you get a pagetop. This, along with all other impermanent actions, will be washed away in the sands of time.
