I don't see what the resistance is.
If Aronis guessed his role, that's different. But he knew that Rauth has the same role. If he knows Rauth's role, then how would Rauth not know Aronis role?
Keeping in mind both are in the dark hood.

As Rauth said, it just looks like Aronis is scum who can see Rauth has the same, and expected Rauth to be able to see the same. Probably played it off as masons instead of neighbours (or whatever) to look town with it.

I can't think of a logical explanation for Aronis to get Rauth's role type correct here. But if anyone has one, do share.

SnarkySnowman should be the N1 Vig target if we have one.
If we have a Vig they can then claim at any point and I will consider them conf-vig for doing this.
