It occurs to me now that the use of the word "cans" is not the same in other countries

it is sort of fascinating that the evolution of this chain was largely defined by the moment where zoraster, a person with less context on pokemon, appeared and made the transformations of team rocket->pokemon couple, meowth->cat, and octopus->oddish.

Yeah I wasn't sure at the time if it was interpreting the Mona Lisa as Keely or if it was an "Ether thinks Keely = the Mona Lisa" kind of thing. Raybells says it was the first one.
