If Fykas/DeasVail flip scum I would/will revisit your third and fourth points with great interest. I want to see more reasons why DeasVail is scum in isolation.

Looking at his ISO so far he looks like a 'scum' player who wouldn't slip/make mistakes very often. His posting is very controlled, clean and articulate. Has anyone played with scum-DeasVail before?

I haven't seen him drive a scum-case through yet - his vote on you is an indirect defence/counter attack (I.e he wouldn't have jumped on you if you had not jumped on him first).
