If he killed himself he would have to target scum to do so. If scum decided to kill him for some insane reason he'd still register motion because he would be targeted.

Yeah. So, really, the only way Vedith has motion is if he killed himself. Learning that he killed himself, we learn, "Oh, well then, Syn has to be scum, right?" Because she does.
Or he made the kill...?

And instead of just having to mislynch you, Dunker/Syn now has to mislynch you and me.

That is beyond dumb - that is absolutely nonsensical. This is the gambit equivalent of no lynching on day 1 to "throw scum off". You can craft a theory that makes slightly more sense than whatever alternative but considering your theory still requires a scumteam that very sincerely and completely fucked up, I'm of the school of thought that we thank them for the nice mislynch and move on. I don't understand how anyone can even pretend to climb into the minds of this scumteam.

Like any theory that requires a scumteam killing one of their own at night to be "incredibly obvious" already has a bit of a bad premise. Vedith was in a better position that Syndesis was yesterday. Vedith was willing to put in more work than Syndesis was. Vedith sacrificing himself for her would be weird.

Intent to hammer.
I'll wait for Mario to write up his post on mulch but I haven't been remotely moved by anything that he's posted so far.

In post 261, Mulch wrote:I'm actually going to UNVOTE: for now.

The things that originally pinged me about Marioo are this: but he got progressively better as the game went on. My thoughts here for whoever wants to see it.
Spoiler:
In posts and , he memes but posts the same meme twice. This isn't suspicious but something that I want to note, because often times when I am scum I have trouble sounding natural in the meme phase. Of course, nothing concrete here.
In post , he jumps on someone for not doing a vote. I get that this is a classic scumhunt, but that's my problem with it here. He is acting aggresive, which is good, but it's for literally the easiest reason that anyone could think of.
In post , he gives a pretty weird explanation. So, the background for this post is that he voted LaLight before, something I thought was a meme. It turns out it wasn't, but it really really did seem like one. The fact that here he felt the need to explain his vote on Lalight is weird, although I like the fact that he did not feel the need to explain why he thought someone was scummy.
This is why Mulch started pushing you initially, so to say that his initial push was completely baseless is wrong unless you're making the argument that the reasoning for a vote needs to be given when it's made.

His vote on you the second time was for "townreading too many people" initially, but I think that the more insightful observation was that you weren't really being confrontational (aside from the push on Drag which was just nonsense).

I had intent to hammer on Mario yesterday before Dunker hammered + I said that I had three townreads yesterday and thought the path to winning lied in lynching outside of those three townreads.

Neither of those posts are wrong; if scum didn't do whatever they did last night, they would have won with a Mario mislynch.

I learned that Dunker/Syndesis was the scumteam. When lynching Dunker, I expected to learn that Dunker was scum.

In general, I think it's good form to give time in situations like these; if Syndesis is town, she now knows the scumteam and knows that she can win the game if she can make a good case for it. If she's scum, she knows the odds are overwhelmingly against her at this point so she doesn't have motivation to demonstrate otherwise.

This is not the posting of a town player who has recently replaced into the game - he suddenly has you at 100% town, zero doubt at all - this isn't natural at all.

Unfortunate result, but probably shouldn't have ended any other way.
I would have liked a bit more time to argue my case - think that mush played pretty well overall but Dunker's scum motivation was fairly clear and obvious and the Vedith death night was something that happened from scum being silly and wasn't a night that I ever would have allowed to happen.
