All good, you played very well and were a treat IC! Also I apologize for the lack of activity, I tend to do that when I'm confirmed town, it's like I always read the thread but I don't have stuff to post. I'm trying to break that habit so hopefully I'm more active in future games.

TBH there isn't a ton in the mafia thread but I'm sure it may be entertaining - it's mostly just me journaling to Drixx after he died.

@HS - personally I thought you played very strongly. You were assertive about your reads and didn't really back off of them - if I were a townie I would have sheeped you. Out of curiosity what were the towntells you thought I dropped (you mentioned it late day 3 I believe)?

BTW, I am much better at responding to specific questions or points than I am at making cases. For one thing I truly don't have time to pore back over the entire game to construct a case, and for another, I'm just not that good at it. So, if you ever want my thoughts or opinions on something, the best thing to do is to ask.

General question regarding forum mafia - do most others keep some kind of separate document to track the game? I find that with my busy schedule I've had a hard time keeping up the game (as you've probably noticed) but it would be nice to have a quick reference - do people do this, and if so, have there ever been discussion threads on the general forum about good ways to manage it? Sorry for the off-topic post, just thought this would be a good place since it's a newbie game and I want to be better next time.

Just observe closely what I did this game and do the exact opposite. You'll win most of your games.

I thought you did pretty good this game. There were flaws but I'd say the only things to work on are to

1)

try not to be so quick to lynch and

2)

try not to sheep quite as much. I know you said you tried going on your own path on another site but it ended badly and I get that, because other sites can play very differently. But on mafiascum it will do you more good than bad to go on your own path rather than sheeping. You don't want to be mislynched for that.

I'll re-read and give feedback for those who asked. I'm glad you guys were happy with my IC play.

I know the main thing people are wondering is what on earth I was doing with HS. I had actually laid out a trap to use for that day which I was planning to use to drive a mislynch. Then HS made a post I thought I could exploit to get a fairly quick push on him. I vastly underestimated how much effort HS would go to and how obvtown he would look. I think normally I could have at least tried to get out of that jam, which is why I didn't self hammer way sooner than I did. As you guys noted, I did still manage to do a self-hammer at a really good time, but I nearly ran out of time to do it.

Sometimes people just make mistakes. This was one of those cases.
