There is something called the Cali meet.
Which I am not going to be at by the way, so I have no excuse. Although I do have an important question to certain people: What is the case against BTD6? I want an actual case.

my read here is that he's really just fence sitting, observing the chaos and every time he produces content, its about the leading wagon.

Like, CE wagon he talks about it, oh now Aronis is popular here's why, then texcat was popular.

He's also withholding his vote a lot. I mean, he voted in RVS, then unvoted and has never actually pushed anything.

In camn's revenge, he would directly fight and push scum reads and using his own reasoning.

What I'm seeing here is parroting and Information over Analysis.

Oh and the beetlejuicing.

I literally call him out for doing nothing, pops in the thread to make a comment about him doing nothing and then vanishes.

so conclusion, I have like, no actual reason to townread BTD off of his play.

In post 3009, texcat wrote:Three people protecting Snarky? That seems like a lot of protectors in this game. And the order of claims was Ginngie, Titus, Creature? Is that right?
Actually, that seems about right for protectives. We might even have 1 or 2 more, depending on how Mastin balanced this. We also don't know what 2 of those protective claims are, so they could be strong or weak. The point is, there being at least 3 protective roles is actually extremely plausible, especially in a role madness game.
In post 3027, MathBlade wrote:No he could be bus driver or roleblocker or redirector or any manipulative role I cited from the wiki.

Again you're starting from a OMG has to be a strongman and working from it versus all the angles.
Bus driver is a huge assumption. Strongman is the simplest answer, and with all things being equal, the simplest answer has the best chance of being correct. And regardless of what scum could or could not have, that still means there's scum in the light PT. So I'm not sure why you're making this argument.
In post 3039, Creature wrote:It's more plausible there's a limited strongman.
Why do you think the strongman would be limited?
In post 3052, MathBlade wrote:As far as I am concerned we have proof scum exists in light a 96% chance of happening and I am not going to hunt for a mythical strongman that may or may not exist and could be a factional ability or there are liars and I am much more prone to thinking there is a liar based off your posts.
So we have proof of scum existing in light, mainly from claims, but you don't want to hunt for said scum because "there be liars, y'all!"?

Unvote
Vote Mathblade

BTD might be scum too, but Math is actively trying to distract from the night actions that point to scum in light. There's a lot of mechanical talk, and it all boils down to throwing out ludicrous ideas that don't mean squat in the long term. It's the "look over there" tactic of mafia. Also, it's very similar to the jester tell, where anyone who tries to distract from another player's scumminess by suggesting jester might be scum protecting a buddy.

Hey Bulba, you say BTD may be scum, and I personally always have a bad taste because it's like a "hey its mah scum bud, but lets go after this town instead" kinda thing.

So if you could respond to my concerns over BTD, I'd be much more inclined to help you out with what you're trying to solve/push with Math.

Do you need him to be at L-2 rather than L-3? Because he's really more of a PoE read for me, and I just wanted to push something that actually looked suspect as crap.

@Bulba, Math is walking on the moon and stubborn bc not in control. It's anti-town. I would compromise on BTD but I strongly feel players like Kelvin and QR need pressure

I think I may still be tipsy slightly but scum could have factional abilities so there is no confirmed scum in light.

The odds of all scum being in one color at the start of the game are 4%. Based on this math there is almost a certainty there is a scum in light and a scum in dark. This is much more reliable to me than anyone who claims to have not protected their target someone who also says they did something to save Snarky's life and Creature's wtf.

As far as I am concerned there is a scum in light and a scum in dark and I am voting BTD6 because BTD6 is my scumread. It isn't antitown to insist we consider everything.
ScumBlade's eloquent performance left me utterly disoriented, debased, depraved and sent me spiraling into a horrific murky abyss with emotional turmoil and immense despair as my only companions until slowly I suffocate in my own gloom, surrounded by failure. I see Titus revealed the lie, which means I can start posting again. As I told people in the Light thread, I didn't want to step on any toes while that whole strategy was playing out. On top of that, it's just been a busy few days. I might start catching up tonight, though I doubt it, so probably expect me tomorrow.
