I hate to say this, but I'm kind of also waiting for the modkills. Quite honestly, I'm not willing at this point to put a lot into speculation if the mod's going to just kill 3-6 people soon.

Back.

[rant]
5 days to construct and program a robot to play tic tac toe took a lot of my time... especially when I found out on the third day that my program was too big.
[/rant]

I think the modkill thing might help a bit, too. Like clearing out inactives in utopia...

I'm beginning to think Darkblade forgot about us. :(

Amusing fact: Sign-ups for this game started 1 year and 3 days ago. The one-year anniversary of the thread being started is about a month and a half away.

Another amusing fact: I asked to be replaced in this game even before the game started here. I can't really remember why I'm still in anyway :).

Just posting because the seven day limit is approaching.

This has got to be the weirdest game ever!

having a number just creates the count-down mood, for example,

about:

41 days left!

I wasn't saying that your statement was wrong :)

I've had a really bad few weeks, and I'm still on the same page as my last post. 11 day gap in the middle. Am I up for being killed too? :?:

So should we consider this game abandoned then? I don't feel like waiting another year before something happens.

Number 4 what? I guess I have mixed feelings about the abandoning. On the anti-abandoning side, we've been through this several times already this game, so one more is hardly something shocking. It's quite easy to just let this game exist until it eventually gets under way again. Plus, there's something to be said for completing this game after a year of our lives have already been put in it. On the pro-abandoning side, this is ridiculous.

Another option is to see if we can get some semblance of a replacement mod. I don't know for sure, but I don't think that there's too much behind-the-scenes stuff left in the game. We can just speed-lynch one by one, and hope that all the scum die before the townies do.

This would be the fourth game I've been in that's been abandoned due to disappearing mod.

I don't mind the speed-lynching idea.

The problem with speed lynching is the lynch goes into night, then the game freezes anyways.

No, we get a temp replacement mod to handle basic choices from whoever is active and has a choice. We don't need to close or lock the thread or anything, and can have really quick (24 hour) deadlines or smth.

We could even have the lynchee, if he's willing, collect night choices.

Wow, not only has Darkblade not replied to my message from a week ago, and not only has he not even opened it, but he hasn't opened the one I sent him on July 16th telling him to quit lurking in Tuthrededmafya.
