i also dont rly give a shit about day1 beyond not lynching a potentially strong town player because its empirically proven that scum winrates go up when you lynch scum day1 - and some players just shouldnt get near lylo
so i just make sure no good town players get lynched and push for a lynch on whoever is the most obstructionist or useless, which often enough hits scum anyway because thats what scum do
yes people will have a fit about this and construe this as me not caring - it's empirically true though. Day1 is meaningless and the most important thing is that people interact and you dont lynch some good townie
its fucking infuriating when people play day1 like we should have some big logical cases and brainstorm for 2 weeks - which just kills the momentum of the game because theres no ACTUAL good info to use yet. No one has flipped, no night actions have been taken etc. day2 is the best day in the game for town and its not useful to drag out the game on a pointless day and sap energy from a very useful one
this among other reasons make day1 lynch nothing more than damage control. perfect win is nice but implausible, so really just agonizing over shit simply makes the game more unbearable
i realise these points will make people scream internally but pls dont bring ur flat earth theories into the debate. i was surprised to find this out too, but its empirically valid (tested over 354 games)
so can we pls lynch the very likely scum and if not scum functionally pointless and never going near lylo slot that is 2iam
thx-

Hi. Just checking. I assessed my workload and oh my god do I need to focus on that. I think I made a mistake because mafia took more than 5 hours of my life this weekend. I'm gonna fix that. From now on, I only have 2 hours worth of mafia daily. So less content from me.
I have a lull time so here it goes.
It does. No matter if he flips scum or town, the day ends without the gospel according to Flavor Leaf, 2 in a Mil, Uzi, and all other lurkers we have in this thread. In post 1310, Game Replacement wrote:

That being said...
Everybody who declares this day too long and that it needs to end is scum-claiming. Even those who claim jailkeeper. Players like Mulch did their best to share what they can in a limited amount of time, but that doesn't mean it's enough. Before we end, I'd like more interaction from everyone with everyone about everything and we can't do that if we lynch prematurely.
It doesn't have to be big cases. I just don't want to leave D1 with lurkers being successful with their attempts to lurk when there's a lot of time to get them out of their cave.
Heard that rb? Your frustration is starting to sound fake to be honest. It's starting to be methodological. But I'll look away because I'm a newbie and what do I know.-

And from my limited experience, wagons are supposed to be spotlights to a player so that the whole town can talk about them and in turn, the player will feel the sense of urgency to push back. Sometimes not necessarily to lynch them, but the lynch usually happens when the player scumslips.
So there you go.
Don't make a fuss about D1 being hoo-haa important and game-breaking because that's not what we're doing here.
And if you don't like that, play some fucking Town of Salem.-

As scum I pm mods and let them know I'm self hammering so they can end the day as soon as possible. In post 1310, Game Replacement wrote:

@TwoInAMillion:
What about RB, Uzi, and Tictac is scummy to you?
What do you think about TChill, Narna, and Transcend?
Who would you link most between your three scum picks and why?
RB - poor arguments
Uzi - trying to push lynches on people I feel are town and ignoring people I feel are scummy.
Tictac - poor logic
between Tchill Narna and Transcend I feel Tchill is the most scummy and Transcend second most but they are still probably town.
RB and Uzi seem to have a similar agenda.-
