I've had a few theories of what's going to happen here -
Jorah is going to go back to Dragonstone to chill with Dany. After that, someone will bring up the Night's Watch. Jorah will then be then "oh, I met a lad named Sam who healed me and was part of the Night's Watch and oh jon snow? yeah he was part of the night's watch too" and that's how Dany and Jon become friends.
I also feel like Bran is going to figure out the dagger thing quickly now that it's confirmed to be a plot point. LF will be killed after Bran does 3rd eye raven back into the past to the scene where Ned is mugged by LF in the throne room. I spoiled this one since the dagger thing is something that you have to really look into to understand at the moment.

I mean it obviously looks more into her spiral into a monster but like she doesn't seem to have any overarching goals beyond "survive"

It's a failure of the show.
They have totally botched the characterization of all the Lannister siblings. They have decreased emphasis on Cersei's narcissism, internalized misogyny, and her paranoid fear of Tyrion in favor of her naked lust for power and revenge.
I think that's why the omission of the
valonqar
line was so significant for me. That entire prophecy is very central to Cersei's entire character and the elimination of a single line has incredible consequences, as unlikely as that may seem.

I get people's issues with the show. I've had issues but kinda got past them at this point. I watch for the good moments and don't care much anymore if the inbetween stuff doesn't always make sense or is different from the books.

line from the prophecy.
If you say so. There were plenty of exceedingly obvious in both book and show that never came to pass.

People know, deep down, that something is off about the show and has been for a while, but either don't want to admit it or don't know exactly what it is. So they take hold of a minor issue and pour their displeasure into it.
I didnt watch episode 4, but I did watch some of the highlights, basically the main plot points. Anyway... I wanted to tease people without angering them... I put it behind a spoiler wall, but yeah it excited me. It's a video from a past season. I love that character.
