Well yeah, a townies best play is to just be genuine with their interactions and stuff, but if a lot of players express their suspicion of you due to how you're playing, maybe you should change how you're playing.

This is the worst attempt that I've seen at trying to look like town work that I can remember.

Elaborate? I kind of agree actually but I want to see if your reasons are mine.

I don't like half of his town leans. There's better suspects and I don't like his scum lean.

But mainly it just looks like he's trying to look busy. Like he's doing something townish.

So a readslist is townish? How do you differentiate between a town readslist and a scum readslist? I've seen super detailed readslist coming from scum before, this is just a readslist without any explanations and Cloud seems reluctant - is that why it looks like busy work to you?

Or is it busy work in some way on its own.

I'm not moving vote from Cloud because the reasoning for why they must be town is...kinda ridiculous. If mafia thought putting 6 townreads in a list would get them townread at a point they were the leading wagon in the game, then they'd do just that. And saying "it'd be too much effort for mafia to explain" - ok sure, and right now you're doing just that.

I think this is just mafia trying to sell the 'too scum to be scum' play. Also we're definitely well past RVS now, so I feel like this is pretty much that point where I was waiting to see if your play did change, but it pretty much hasn't.

BBT is also a player that I really need to see more out of, I'd be tempted to lynch there as well. Not sure what to make of the idea of a Cloud+BBT wolf team right now. Early bussing and distancing isn't unheard of but also not something to totally bank on.

I'm also finding Havo a bit underwhelming, and I like backhand so far I think. Enough that they're a player I can see me working with throughout the game. What do you think of Havo, Backhand?

My day 1's usually are underwhelming. I need content. I've mislynched too many bad townies on Day 1 by being too gung ho when I first started playing. Now I don't rush. I let it come to me.

I mean, yes, but that can be a dangerous attitude because you also have to build trust. Doesn't matter how good your reads are if you're shouting them into the wilderness.
