Unless you're going to argue that Boon's original ruleset used WM as an example for how votes should be formatted, (which I find incredibly unlikely lol, although I admit I didn't go back to check) it is quite apparent that WM adapted the ruleset to fit this game. The fact that he took it from Boon is irrelevant. That he chose to include the fact that scum may or may not have daytalk seems to indicate to me that they likely do, cuz why bother bringing it up like that in the first place if they don't?

I also notice that you haven't really stated an opinion on the matter, and that you're discrediting the mod's post where he clearly states that it might be a possibility.

I'm not arguing that... iirc Boon said that line was included in his rule set as well and that he uses it for wifom.

If it's standard nowadays for scum to have daytalk then sure, it's likely that they do have it, I don't know what's standard.

I think that the mafia do not have daychat because hiding day chat from public knowledge seems like a regular good idea but I just wouldn't mention anything about mafia day chat in the first couple posts of I was a mod that wanted day chat.

I was completely serious that I believed that the fact that I've heard of you but have no idea who you are makes you more likely than the average player to be expendable. But do you actually think there's even the tiniest chance I voted you with the intention of a policy lynch going through based on that? This says strange things to me either about your thought process or your view of the early game.
