Last night I got a pm saying I was dragged into the sewers. I did not get another PM today which makes me think that it was temporarily removed from targetting me. That suggests lightning rod.

I'm not sure if it permanently takes it off of me and I suspect that it doesn't, it just redirected the second night, but I am pretty sure that the lightning rod was used.

So von put in a series of three roles (lightning rod, scum framer, town cop) that would guarantee I got a guilty result on the night of the lightning rod activating regardless of who I targeted?
That is beyond awful game design.

I see it the opposite way: by guaranteeing a guilty on the night of the lightning rod he indirectly informs the cop that a framer exists and gives them reason to be wary of their results.

Right now I feel like Steel is probably the last town. I'm confirming receipt of the mind battle thing but I cannot confirm what it actually does and if it does something like neighbourize + steal my vote then we can just lose here.

I don't believe, with either the way that madvillains talked about their power or with the fact that it requires consent from the receipient, that the ability is solely a neighbourize and I don't think I should accept it.

We've confirmed that the ability exists and that's as far as I want to go with that I think.

ftr I don't think scorpious necessarily played well. I think most vigs in his position would have retaliatorily shot me and I saw that coming which is why I was trying to make absolutely sure that he died. I was trying to signal to my scumpartners to vote him but neither of them voted him and I don't know why because I'm not sure what they thought was going to happen.

Also correct me if I'm wrong but RR's actions didn't matter because Carca was saving me anyway?

@Hiplop I knew that you weren't PGO. I didn't think you were masonizer either personally, I was more interested in you because I thought that the mind duel thing was something along the lines of a weak role where it would have confirmed one or both of your alignments (my assumption for a while was that if she mind dueled scum, she either died or killed them.)
@Madvillains I mean ostensibly I was claiming that I thought it was too risky but yeah it really just wasn't good for my wincon to accept.
@RadicalRat yeah sorry. I will say that you did a great job of being towny for most of the game and never felt like a viable mislynch to me.

@TTH you were really great and I really wish we were town together. I worked very, very hard to fool you specifically and I felt bad for it the whole game. Sorry.

This setup was fairly scum sided in my opinion but there was a lot of serious power on town that was used well. Night actions themselves were actually used pretty effectively, although I would point out that TTH being ascetic caught us off guard because we chose to roleblock rather than nightkill her.

Unfortunately Apricity was in China for the latter half of the game but I thought she was fantastic early and I'm glad we won!
