He'd already given you the friendly neighbor thing, and BP doesn't really help scum much so it seems reasonable that he tried giving it out to the unconfirmed among us so scumkills would just keep failing.

Then the Lumberjack's deflection retargets Growlithe's bus drive to me, meaning the gift hits you instead.
