No, nothing is false about that statement. Noise is actually distracting as opposed to filler and allows for scum to hide easier in my experience. Mafia theory and speculation do exactly just that. Me asking tchill about his thoughts on the Cleveland Cavaliers trading Kyrie Irving isn't, especially in this setting. It doesn't prevent anyone from concentrating on game solving. Why me?

I suspected Zach as soon I read his reaction to Lily speculating that he might be an SK in RVS. The tone of his response had annoyance written all over it and I found that a bit unnatural for that stage of the game. Mainly because Lily didn't make the accusation in a way that implies she strongly believes he could be an SK. Also there history together. I don't know if they have a relationship outside of mafia but we were all in game together recently in which I was town and they were scum. When this came to mind, two theories also did.

1.) Both of them are scum and Zach was trying to tell her subtly to knock off any distancing attempts.

2.) Zach is scum and is afraid that Lily can read him off one post. In this case, his vote that he casted for Robb may have set off alarms in Lily's mind and Zach wanted to attempt to shut that down quickly by responding in a non-serious manner.

I found the latter to be the most likely since I found it hard to believe they would both roll scum together again in such a short time period.

I began to scum read him when he accused me of having a red role PM, didn't vote me afterwards, and didn't respond to me asking for clarification. To me, it seemed like this was an actual scum read or a stronger read than the one he had on Robb. Either way I had expected to be voted.

My read on him from then on has only been reinforced by not only his fascination with scum reading me for inept reasons, but his fascination with WhyMafia. As well as why he should be town read which I recently went over.

About 3 months worth of games on a live chat with disappointingly low quality games for the most part. About a handful of forum games, completed one as scum and about 6-ish as town in total I think. I assume this is what you wanted to know anyway.

I'm not showing any signs because again, no one is giving me any reasons too. The reasons I've received outside of you claiming Fish was forcing a hammer without a claim is that his replace out read genuine. What does that even mean? Wait, don't answer, that was rhetorical.

Now let's recap my issues with MMM's slot. MMM votes for me because he believed my confidence earlier suggests that I'm scum who slipped. I asked him why town can't be so confident at that stage and the following is what occurred:

In 243, he doesn't answer. The only thing closely resembling an answer is his second point, which isn't even an answer really. It's just saying that it's very easy for scum to have a strong town read at that stage because they're informed. This clearly isn't an answer to why town can't be confident in a town at that stage.

In 256, he still doesn't answer the question. He points out that I didn't state a reason for town reading Mulch but just over a dozen posts ago, he read Mulch's play as town. All he says is that me town reading Mulch without showing why is unacceptable. This again does not tell me why town cannot be so confident at the early stages of the game.

I like to think that town would have a few reasons for their belief or at least tell me what exactly about Mulch's warrants a scum read. He didn't do either. Just kept repeating himself over and over again.

Now let's get into his spat with massive. So ELA had asked MMM if their is a particular reason why he was reading massive the way he did. He responds by saying that he has massive where he is because of a lack of content. This earns him a vote from massive.

If you go back to 228, you'll see that MMM is leaning scum on the players he has colored yellow. massive's name is colored. Now if we read 260, in which MMM lashes out at massive, he tries to say that his actual scum leans are the people at the bottom and not the names that was yellow. Anyone with a brain knows this is bullshit. The players he had in the middle that were colored were clearly important to him and were lean scum reads because he took the time to emphasis it, by coloring and pointing out that they're that way, because of his belief that scum do not want to attract any heat on them in RVS.

The issue with the entire exchange is, why was he lying? Why was he upset that he was he called out for leaning one way about a players alignment when he did exactly just that?

This brings me to his self-vote in 345. He says he's upset because people are making false accusations and for people not reading what he said in his posts. Who exactly was throwing out any false accusations? Who wasn't reading? He was leaning scum on massive for his lack of content and I clearly read what he said in his posts because I prodded him to answer my question about the confidence thing and replied to his relevant points. If you feel this is wrong please correct me but based on me and massive's interactions with him, there is no reason for him to have been so upset since he didn't elaborate when given the chance to and as evident by 402, the self-vote strongly looks like it was done to get the pressure off of him.

He says Zach was annoyed (I don't get that from that post) and this can only be because he is scum with Carcalily or that Zach is scum and is afraid of Carcalilly. He goes from Zach is annoyed therefore he is scum. He also scum read Zach because he said LUV had a red pm but didn't vote him. He then says that this scum read of Zachs is stronger than the one he had on rob. He got all this information from a post made in RVS.

Then is Post 783 he says that Zach is trying to end the day early by trying to get his scum read lynched. This pinged me because in a previous game I played with him he wanted to end the day early because he was confident in his scum read so why is he now sayings it's when Zach does it?

The point I believe said that I basically catch scum not only in RVS, but from one post. Why are none of the conclusions I've made about Zach's play in RVS reasonable? Listen guys, lynches are there to lynch people you think are scum - not to avoid a deadline and surely not always for the sake of information. If you're lynching players you have a good feeling are innocent, just to avoid a no lynch, then you are out of your mind as that accomplishes nothing. If you strongly feel the player is innocent then them flipping does nothing. You just eliminated someone that could have possibly been put in the hard to lynch category which is one of many things scum don't like.

Just because you can lynch every cycle doesn't mean you should lynch every cycle. The nature of every lynch is different. Some are built on investigations, some on analyzing a player's behavior, some on votes, some on bullshit, some on lies - are you going to lynch someone to avoid a no lynch even if you think the case against them is shit because half of the other people voted?

No lynching doesn't always hurt. New information may be gained during the night phase, people's thoughts may change, and you may even find more reasons to convince other players to lynch your scum reads or to not lynch your town reads. If you can reasonably step back, look at the situation and deduce that the player on the clock is town, then no lynching gives town 1 more player scum has to think about before winning.
