Vig shots are really the worst possible way to go about this. You screw up just one of those, and game over immediately. And a roleblocker can stop a vig shot just as easily as a cop shot.

Yes. His behavior makes sense for a Town player in his situation. It making sense doesn't mean I agree with it though.
But it does NOT make sense for a Scum player in his situation.
All he really had to do was claim different targets from Growlithe and drop the issue. No one would blink an eye at Growlithe lying about his role and/or targets, because he does that all the time.

It sounds like you're speaking from experience here, and I sympathize with you.
But I promise you, if we lose because Vax is scum and I pulled the wagon away from him, I will take on most of the blame with respect.
I'm not the kind of person who blames others for his own failures/shortcomings.

It does. Scum are cornered by PoE. Even if he is lynched for it, planting the seeds of doubt regarding our conftown status helps his partner(s) in the long run.

It's not that I don't believe you when you say scum bussing cost them that game.
It's that I believe this game to be different.

If I know the claims, and I know what actions were supposedly taken, I am confident in my ability to pick out the lies from there. Night action shenanigans are the one thing I consider myself really good at when it comes to Mafia. If I can't, then I'll resign myself to that, and I'll sheep you and the other gems. You have my word on that.
