No mace, you have either misunderstood my intention or are misrepresenting it. I asked a genuine question because i wanted to better understand your point about why a new player shouldn't or wouldn't be putting effort into substantial posts. You respond by telling me and the thread I saw you as abrasive in this, which is incorrect. I never assigned anything like that to your behaviour.

You use this to then highlight a supposed disparity between my positive statement about acid's behaviour, and my supposed negative comment towards your same behaviour, and use it to suggest this is not the behaviour of town. This disparity does not exist given the above.

So I am left wondering whether you genuinely misunderstood me, or whether you have chosen to interpret my question in such a way as to cast doubt on my town nature.

The reason I wanted clarification originally is simple. I am a new player. If adding posts of length is frowned upon for newbs, I wasn't aware and am interested in why.

I am asking this because I did not know at the time that Fenrir isn't new, and found it weird that a new player would be capable of making posts like that, because he shouldn't have the knowledge to do them. Now I know he isn't. Still, maybe he will resopnd with something to further progress the game, maybe he won't

Central to my response to you was making clear that nowhere in my post did i assign anything negative, aggressive, abrasive or similar to your original question. i took time to highlight this, and pointed out it was you yourself that stated I found it abrasive. I don't want to cloud the thread with this one discussion either, especially given the lack of new content from elsewhere. So I will also move on after this post if the thread allows. I don't, however, agree that this was about semantics. And I don't think we went in circles. I think you wanted to characterise my approach in a negative way, and that you have not been successful.

I said a number of times that all I originally wanted was to better understand the premise of your question. It was a nothing but a small curiosity. I don't at all want the above. In fact, I said post 135 that I felt you'd answered it now.

All the people townreading you are painted in slighty reddish null. I have a feeling that if you are town, then at least one of them is scum who knows you are town, and is throwing his townread on you to blend in with the village

Question for you, why do you ask for reads?

To that you would probably answer: "Well duh, to progress the game"

And then my response is: Do you ask for reads from people because you want them to give your stance so you can read them better yourself, or because you want to listen to their advice?
