Would anyone guess why I switched? I want to see if people saw what I see.

gut more than anything

but also, I find it suspicious that you were almost lynched yesterday, wagon failed, we lynched town instead, and there hasn't been a resurgence of a push on you today

if you were town I'd think you'd be getting more heat and pressure from scum as "the lynch we should have gone with", but instead it's a "phewww, narrowly escaped that one" feeling I have about you

I feel like Guilty Lion could be scum in my blind spot. I've been townreading him for analysis and for reactions to pressure, but there are signs of self-awareness in his posts that would negate that kind of town tell.

That phrase bothers me.

People are scumreading Chiaotzu for something similar he posted about voting Valhalla, but this went without comment. Not sure why.

And some of the analysis is not all that deep when I look back at it. Even in his first post with content there was a shallowness to his push on kraska. There was an implicit assumption that Valhalla (as a unit, not as 2 players) and Alisae have a similar meta baseline, and that kraska scumreading them for basically doing opposite things was contradictory.

I've re-read the whole post multiple times and this part of it makes it sound like you know wisdom is flipping town

you say you think wisdom is flipping scum, but then say you don't think scum QHs town here

it's like you're using the entire situation to validate a TR for realeo more than anything - whereas I find the hammer very scummy

and it seems to me you avoid the consideration of scum hammering scum?

aye, GL has been pinging me with little "off" things like that since the beginning, and (I think I said this early?) his play reminds me of my own scum game

seemingly careful analysis but actually cloaked posturing and positioning with lots of "feelers" put out to test which way the wind is blowing that come across as theorizings and discourse of solving with others

I've got it down to a pool of:

ceph
valhalla
GL
realeo

and if you want to remove ceph from that list I can't blame you

morph my main issue with you + ceph is that ceph gave up playing yesterDay for the most part so I don't know why scum would attempt to NK them and with that I can't figure why you'd protect them

My assumption is that scum saw the same post that WE took as a cop crumb as a cop crumb.

It's been said several times over that a post of his on day two made both of us go "So ceph is a cop with an inno on Bins"

I have never seen scum-Ceph give up playing. It's not a totally uncommon thing for town-Ceph to. Ceph vastly prefers playing scum to town.

This game state has been a lot more conducive to town losing motivation than to scum doing so IMO.

Honestly...laziness I think. Just no energy to do the work and push GL. It sucks. I'm sorry.

and ceph pings me good (from pre-tammy exit and even more in the past Day), and I figured if ceph was town I'd get scum hopping on board readily trying to get him lynched too, and when that didn't happen I got a little more confident that my gut about that slot is possibly right

I read ceph as likely scum who got a heavily TR by a majority early and has been coasting since and is just faking apathy. but I go back and forth

especially with your claim on the board

so, I've nosed around ceph a bit and not like what I've been sniffing / can't shake the smell and not sure what to make of it so I keep sniffing

pedit: I'm one of the last people who is going to drop a SR simply based on claims, but yes, I do think it more likely I'm off about ceph at this point

So do I, but the stubbornness is usually about my townreads.

This post probably warrants an "~f" because Cabd is not the one who threatens to ignore hypothetical guilty results on strong town reads.

I genuinely want to know
Site meta is such that a mod doing this to players with having set the "bastard" tag to false and not advertising the possibility of it in the setup notes would lead to several players (myself included!) never playing that mod's games ever again.

Nancy is not the sort of person to do that.

Also, mod meta, go read prior nancy games endgame posts with the setup reveal; most recently the Laundry large theme, and compare.
I don't want to make a thing out of it, because Ceph is conftown to me because of the doc save, but I would not announce my game as bastard because of the Godfather. It's just not a bastard element.

Also trying to outguess the mod on setup is pretty much always a bad idea.

correct mafia theory is to not lynch an innocent result because math even when you know for a fact there is a godfather in the game

which is why godfather is a bad role that shouldn't be used outside role madness

why? I remember you originally townread them D1 because "you didn't think scum!kraska would lock horns with us", but then you were almost "mislynched" (FYPOV obviously) on D2, with kraska being a vote. You really think Chiaotzu is more likely to be scum just nonchalantly hopping on the wagon as the L-1 vote? Why does that make sense as a move to "absolve himself" of accountability?

kraska's main two pushes this game were Nos on D1 and you on D2. From your perspective that'd be two town pushes. Why the townread? Are you townreading GR's content?
