You can only progress 3 numbers, so in your 2nd roll you would have had to progress either 3 or 12, you cannot do both. You would have lost all progress after the third roll because you couldn't progress 2/9/(3 or 12 which ever you had picked)

Yep you both share the same board. If one player claims a column that number becomes dead for both players. For example, Shrek rolls a 3/3/2/1 after 6 has been cleared, Shrek could only do 2+3 for 3 and 1+3 for 4, you could not do 6.
