I apologize for the slowness of the ruling. I had one in mind; I just wanted a second opinion from Xalxe.

Cheery Dog has been ejected. The "no looking answers up" rule includes cases when I rule an answer too ambiguous and ask you to clarify. I'm sorry.

The scores for this round will be tallied as if Cheery Dog did not submit, and the results will be up tonight at the earliest.

Non-Scoring Answers

Aeschylus - Iprobablysuck
Hans Christian Andersen - Mjollnir
Ernst Bach - mallowgeno*
L. Frank Baum - Aronis
Ludwig van Beethoven - mallowgeno
Irving Berlin - Assemblerotws
Ray Bradbury - Aronis
Anton Chekhov - LlamaFluff
Roald Dahl - DeasVail
Ben Elton - Mjollnir
Henrik Ibsen - Save The Dragons
Eugène Ionesco - Felissan
Franz Liszt - Plotinus
Imre Madách - Plotinus
Molière - Felissan
Harold Pinter - randomidget
Plautus - Felissan
George Bernard Shaw - Aurathebirb
John Smith - N
Stephen Sondheim - Xalxe
Aaron Sorkin - Xalxe
John Philip Sousa - mallowgeno
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - Plotinus
Thornton Wilder - Save The Dragons
August Wilson - D3f3nd3r

* Based on context, I think mallowgeno meant Johann Sebastian Bach. However, he didn't write any plays, musicals, or operas, and Ernst Bach is the only other person I found with that last name who fits the category. It doesn't affect mallowgeno's score either way.

Irrelevant Players

Cheery Dog (30) - Oscar Hammerstein II, William Shakespeare, Andrew Lloyd Webber, J. K. Rowling
StrangerCoug (28) - William Shakespeare, Eugene O'Neill, Neil Simon, Arthur Miller, Molière

Scores

A few of you freaked out about getting an activity strike for not having your full five, but I'm a nice kitty :) So long as you gave at least one valid answer within the time limit, I didn't give you an activity strike. Also, note the footnote in Non-Scoring Answers to see what I was ruling as acceptable ;)

This was another question that kicked some people in the butt, and we once again go without anybody getting a perfect score. However, Haschel Cedricson came the closest with 43.
McMenno failed to get even one valid answer that wasn't what everybody else said too, leaving him with 23 points and making this the third round in a row where he drops :(

McMenno drops to Level 3.

Noone even listed that particular person, why the hell does that even matter?
I gave you two messages, one of which was thoughts before I had done research.
I should have a C. Boyd as a non-scoring answer imo.
Just because whoever it is isn't actually a famous playwright from me getting the wrong initial.

You're telling me that others submitted less than 5 answers, they're perfectly fine continuing with that, but ambiguity about one person takes out my whole answer?
I actually know of who my other four answers were, even thought my mind combines Rodgers & Hammerstein into one person. (Why I didn't just list the second)

This. If you submit your five answers, then look up what you could've answered, you're on the honor code not to change them. I come up with my five answers before I read any of your PM's.
Which is obviously helpful if one of your answers could refer to multiple people

Oh, that second message was poor wording from me.
I had meant it to convey just cometary about where I was actually trying to aim and not be a continued submission.

The four answers I trust Cheery Dog not to have looked up will be listed under Irrelevant Players. (
Update:
Edited in.) While I stand by my ruling that he cheated by looking up George Boyd's first name when I asked for clarification on "Boyd", he is welcome to continue submitting answers for this question and future ones.

After I submitted, I looked up who wrote the other plays I could think of and knew I never would have thought of their names on my own.

I'm too busy processing the pending answers to rescore right now, but that means you're saved from the drop while Felissan, mallowgeno, and N get a three-way tie for last. Until I update, pretend you have three more points while Creature and Iprobablysuck have one more point.

Scores

First of all, don't feel like correcting the scores in #177 because I'm a lazy bum :P Everyone should have the correct scores for the question as well as the correct level below, however; if there are still any mistakes, give me a yo.

With that out of the way, still no perfects, but McMenno comes the closest with 70.
Xalxe, who had been doing well before, was the only one
NOT
to answer cash or money this question and scored no better than 11 on any single answer, giving him only 21 points and the next drop.

Xalxe falls to Level 2.
