it should've been obvious the fact i wasn't actually mason. it was a reaction test, and it got good reactions and bad reactions. it also sparked discussion which helps town. it really shoudn't have created confusion, to be honest i probably shouldn't of retracted the claim because that's what caused the most confusion, anyways

as for the whole dunker-mulch claiming masons thing

there was a recent-but-still-ongoing game that the three of us were in where there were about 10 of those fake mason claims
so it was kind of an in-joke if anything
