How is asking questions town indicative, give examples of you analyzing player motivation, why is answering questions town indicative?

You wouldn’t do questions as scum?

As scum, I'd be more indicative to lurk and be lazy in my doing of things/deeds.

Asking/answering questions is town indicative for me because I get a better understanding of the player, their mindset, and where their motivations lie.

One of the biggest examples I can give of analyzing a player and their motivation is to point directly at Bulb. I know his playstyle and his motivations for playing as brash as he does. Him playing fast and loose this day is a bit new to me, however it is rather welcoming to see him try something new for a change. Most of the reads for him have come up as scum, and if anything, knowing him, he's currently in his town meta state. Now, that's not to say that the read can't/won't change down the line because there are a couple of posts/things that have my attention. However, for now though, I'm going to go with town Bulb.

I've noted Bulbs case against Chickadee as well as I have been paying attention to Chickadee throughout the game. Early on and throughout most of the day, Chick has had a good bit of fluff and mechanical discussion posts. Her most recent post on why she has Bulb as a scum read does feel genuine to me. Current feel is null but leaning town).

Chesskid has scum written all over them. You don't come in and try and to fluff a case based on lies and bullocks.

Well what I'd LIKE to do is to read the whole thread and give my thoughts as I see it without that being too much of a distraction and without the town becoming dependent on my content (i.e. totally dead except when I post). As in, progressing forward while I continue reading...

...Yet doing so at a reasonable enough pace that I can keep up in the present just as well as the past. I would LIKE to have the time to do so conveniently. (I can't right now because I need to take a shower tomorrow which means going to bed early tonight because I have work then dance after that and I won't be around until late tomorrow thanks to said dance aside from the smallest of windows.) I would LIKE to have a single bloc of time where I could catch up on everything all at once, with as many breaks as necessary to maintain my coherency (since if I work on a single game too long it becomes monotonous and thus I break down).

And these are factors you very much can't give me.

But outside of those. What I like is talking like this and little things. Me pointing out what I see, you engaging it, you asking me about something, me looking at said something and pointing out what I see, repeat.

I don't like the progression of Bulba's reads. I especially didn't like his push on Mulch. After Mulch's hard claim of wish granter, Bulb was still pushing to policy Mulch. Mulch claimed a provable role (again, yes, I know, not provable town, but provable role). Mulch has been good about not spamming this game. Plus, I have a hard town read on Mulch. Then Bulb moves on and tries to get a Drealmerz wagon going. And then moves on, and then moves on, and then mov.......you get the point.

Thats the gist anyway. from me at least.

Not a fan of votes on mulch for roleclaim lying. Specifically Srceen will need to vote for something non-asinine at some point. I guess their bulbavote is okay.

A: why you think Toby's role strangeness is sufficient for him being a bad lynch
B: Why, if he is a bad lynch, vigging him (which has the same effect as a lynch) would be okay?

Why is Bulba defending Eddie from chesskid. Eddie is clearly one of the best lynch options at this time. "wait until day 2" is yucky here.

Yes, higher activity gives me a townier first impression of most players.
How can you determine superficiality when I haven't explained any thoughts yet? And why would superficiality of initial reads make me not town anyway???
I need to load more or less the whole game into my mind in order to try and solve it. This takes time. I hope this game doesn't turn out to be completely crazy rolewise or I'm gonna feel sad for putting in so much effort.

So you dont think its strange when someone that is claimed to be one of the best, goes over the game, presents their first read, and all of it is purely "face value". No indications that they were suspicious of anyone trying real hard to blend in? Nothing that made them go "oh this person is widely townread, but he did X which I think means he's faking it". No original thought, but just scumreads that were scumread by most, and townreads that are townread by most? Which are now admittedly mostly based on activity?

Sure the argument can be made "he just replaced in, first impressions" - but even while reading a thread as town with an open mind youre gonna find stuff that goes against the grain. This felt way more like a scumslot replacing in and doing the "look me being town, putting forward a lot of effort to catch-up and have a readslist that wont ruffle too many feathers".
