As d2 drew to a close, i was coming around to believing Fykus's story, which would make me fall back on my earlier Mulch/Dunk theory. It all comes down to whether it really is mechanically impossible for Mulch to have eaten the NK.

How could i come up with such an outlandish role to counter claim someone town was just about to lock town all for the purpose of trying to lynch 1 town member? Thats like a 2 for 1 deal with mafia coming out the losers

Can you guys check this theory and tell me if I'm being dumb here:

1. Town.Mulch commutes N1
2. Town.Dunker shoots Mulch N1, but learns his shot didn't go through and concludes Mulch is scum.
3. Town.Dunker hardclaims cop to prevent Mulch from fakeclaming commuter, and accuses Mulch.
4. Scum.Fykus, who didn't force-commute Mulch at all, and thus doesn't know that a cop investigation of Mulch wouldn't go through, jumps on the Mulch wagon.
5. Mulch knows a cop investigation of him would have failed and suspects Dunker of fakeclaiming.
6. 1v1 clusterfuck etc.

So...Town.Mulch, Town.Dunker, Scum.Fykus

Here's the history of when i jumped on Mulch's wagon until i jumped to Fykus, since you're too lazy or too scummy to check. Note i argue repeatedly with Fykus to get Mulch lynched before Dunker.
