Only game I watched was the CLG-Dig game, and I was very Impressed with Doublelift. Dude is insane. I also watched his interview after the game, hilarious.

The MRN - velocity game was really tight and really good. Vileroze played pretty decent. maplestreet got completely left in the cold in that last team fight. Honestly, his team kinda dicked him the entire game.

I'm not a big fan of allowing any players to play for a region they don't belong to. Cause the way it's set up is essentially like world cup, each region has it's little season and qualifiers and then goes to the world cup. Just as I'm not a fan of guys like Kevin prince Boateng playing for Ghana or all the brazilians who've played for Portugal over the years. I'm not a fan of the EdWard move, or the koreans fielding a team in the NA scene.
The only difference is it's a mix of a pro league and international representation(cause I have no problem with Pau Gasol playing for the lakers but I would flip my shit if he was on the USA team as an example) so I can see where people have no issue with it, but I feel looking at it from a purely competitive stand point and saying it's not good is kinda silly.
Edit: Especially when there is a significant portion of the NA regio that isn't represented(Mexico and the latin countries) and have been looped into the "latin american" region instead of being included in their continent
NA is multicultural and if you exclude any race or nationality, particularly "The Koreans" from the collective that is the north american race then you should feel ashamed of yourself
I'm excluding KOREA, not KOREANS. NA = people from(born and raised) Canada, US, Mexico, All the Central American nations, all the Caribbean nations. I don't care if you're culturally/ancesterally Korean, I care if you were born/raised in Korea.
But as Quadz point out and as I kinda mentioned, it's more like club then country.

Big night for TSM. If they at least beat SKT, they have a shot at a playoff at least, assuming OMG doesn't deliberately lose the last game of group stage to SKT.
TSM goes 3-1(only losing to OMG) and SKT goes 2-2 losing to OMG and TSM, that's a playoff. That math doesn't work if they beat OMG and lose to SKT though.

Anyone watching this LPL stream? Why are they playing Bowling for Soup? Why is this highlight reel filled with the two teams in the finals getting fucking smoked? Why is the girl caster with the neck tattoo dressed up like a man? Why does she have such a hard time reading queue cards?

Wild turtle penta made top 10 when he was on TSM. But I just meant like, I don't have time to watch it so I need the highlights.
I only know the doinb story because I was watching asian league with sleepo and he told me about it and I feel that it was the craziest story I've ever heard about any sort of competitive organization.
What did they say about kuro1, sleepo? Did the say any gold retard could have played better in that series? Cause they could of

Alternatively, I hope hauntzer gets injured in between game 2 and 3. Regi has to fill in top lane. Spends all game playing like regi and acting like regi and being real rude to berg and lift lift. Then at 23 minutes, after a blown dragon call; magic happens. 4 members of TSM stand up. The camera switches from game to the stage. And to the collective gasp of the live audience: they walk off stage. Regi flabbergasted, plays 1v5. Tries frantically to defend the base, using each champion 1 by 1. He can't do it. No man could. RNG has broken the nexus. And regi sits on stage, defeated. A broken man with a broken empire. TSM must also forfeit the ensuing tiebreaker. Queue the movie.

Because Reginald is a a huge asshole, that consistently not only degrades his teammates/business partners(including using his leverage in their web series to make dyrus look very bad after a team disagreement), has betrayed his own brother in pursuit of fame and fortune. Reginald is a very bad man. Also each member of TSM can easily find a contract just as good as the one they have with bad man reginald. Bjerg is a certified esports super star(and literally has his pick of teams in at least 2 regions due to his import status), so is liftlift. Sven is fairly close to that level. Suffice to say, none of those guys should stand for regi's berating them as he's feeding during world's. Also, I really like the high drama of sports mixed with the low drama of being very young and in tense situations.

What? This is just my personal fantasy that I decided to share among my friends at mafiascum.net. There is no twitter/facebook/reddit rooting for TSM to abandon reginald. I just think it would be fantastic viewing.

@voided, all SK was saying that you're just typing to type. Your "analysis" wasn't really analysis and you said all the favorites were gonna win. It would saved us all the trouble of reading babble if you would have straight said "all the favorites are gonna win, but I don't want them to" or just done the picks straight up without any extra bullshit. In short, save the not-really-analysis for your tumblr.
As for my picks. All favorites in Rd 1. Skt over rox and Korea over not Korea Rd 2. Ssg over skt. Crown kills faker a bunch. The crowd goes wild. The unkillable demon king goes down.

In post 7039, Voidedmafia wrote:I'm certainly not saying "Favs are gonna win cuz favs" because there are legit reasons why teams like SKT and SSG and Rox are gonna be finalists.
but it is what you said, you just said it 300 words instead of 5. It's not like you listed a single real reason as to why anyone would. W/e it doesn't matter
