Yeah, I was expecting you to trade pawn-for-pawn at move 14 with Bxc2, but I guess you went for the defensive option making sure I couldn't move my bishop into position to make a play on d6. After that I was looking to castle and get my rook out ASAP, and move 15 I very nearly played Bd3 instead to protect the pawn but decided I'd rather get the tempo from checking you. Then once my rook was out you moved your bishop away when we did end up trading pawns and I just carried it from there.
And picking a time would have been good but I just don't think we had that much shared time in the first place
Oh well~
(And yeah, I spent way too much time analysing things in the endgame there)Fickle, cold and harsh or caring and warm
Strongly opinionated or barely invested, but a constant
You know the wind will always come back.-

Yeah I apologize for the fast pace, I wanted to get it done super quick since the Connect 4 ended in a tie.
I'm going to give a slight respite and post the next game on Saturday.
If you have not submitted a list please let me know who you wish to play as!
Congrats JDGA on surviving the duel, sorry Gamma but you have been eliminated.-

How to play:
An in-depth rules guide can be found here or here, or if you prefer video form, here
This game will be played in 5 rounds. Each round consists of three parts. Each player starts with 1 purse worth $250.
Part One: Schemin'!
The players play their Action cards into a common deck in the center of the table. You will have a deck with 10 action cards and they are as follows:
(2x)Move:If your bandit is in a car, they must move 1 car left or right. If they are on the roof they may move up to 3 cars right or left. Your bandit MUST move.
(2x)Floor Change:Your bandit will go on to the roof if they are in a car and will go into a car if they are on the roof. They MUST perform this action.
(1x)Marshall:Move the Marshall one car to the left or right. If he enters a car with any bandits they immediately receive a neutral bullet and are sent to the roof. You MUST move the marshall.
(2x)Fire:Shoot a bandit in another car than you. If you are in a car, shoot another player in a car to the right or left of your character. If you are on the roof, shoot any player who is in line of site on another car. Shot players will receive a bullet card of the player who shot them.
(2x)Robbery:Pick up your choice of loot that is in the car you are currently in. Purse token's will have values from $250-$500, Gems will have a value of $500, and the Strong Box will have a value of $1000
(1x)Punch:Force a bandit in your car to drop one loot of your choice that they currently are carrying. Then move them one car to the left or right.
You may choose to play an action card from your hand on your turn OR draw 3 cards instead.
Part Two: Stealin'!
Now that the common deck has been created, players will carry out actions in the order they were submitted. Once an action is performed that card will go back to the player who played it and will put it in their discard pile. After all actions have been carried out any end round effects will trigger and then we move into the last phase.
Part three: Cleanup
Players may discard any remaining cards in their hand they don't wish to have for the next round. They set these cards aside and then draw back up to 6 cards. Then they will put the set aside cards into their discard pile.
End Game:
The end of the game will trigger after the 5th Stealin' Phase. The player who shot the most players will receive theGunslingerAward and get a bonus $1000.
The top player will receiveImmunityand will receive an advantage in the nextRound Table. The second place player will simply receiveImmunity.
The player with the least amount of loot at the end will enter theDueland must choose another non-immune player to fight to the death against. As an aside, since Connect Four was played but not resolved last Duel, it will not re-enter the pool. However a new game will take it's place.Last edited by mallowgeno on Wed Oct 04, 2017 6:21 am, edited 2 times in total.-
