I so don't have the energy for this, but screw it. Here's my read on the Tman2/Asuka slot.

Tman2

Engages with questions in RVS. Generally good play, minor Townpoints in RVS.

I like that he liked my read. At risk of being egotistical, I'm used to people Townreading me when I go into detail, and I can see it connecting. Talks about needing to commit himself. (Kinda reminds me of myself when I'm disengaged and effectively trying to pressure/shame myself into working. :/)

Doesn't follow through - requests a replace-out.

Read at this point

- Lightly Town. He actively prompted discussion and we connected a bit. It's nothing that couldn't be faked but what's there is positive. I actually consider this a serious read.

Asuka

Opens with an over the top cheery post.

Banters with KTS when KTS votes him for this.

Another eager beaver styled post. I feel like this was meant to be part of his alt's persona.

132 Extensive stuff, mostly gut checks on RVS and prompting questions. Seems fair.

He continues to prompt. I'd put him at a light Townread at this point, adding to my prior read on tman.

Touching on the next few posts, there's a bit of prompting, a bit of banter, and a rather strong defense on KTS that I'm :/ about. There were about 4 people trying at all at that point.

Pushes to hammer Assemble because the game is stagnating and does not comment further.

- I really liked his prompting, but I was uncomfortable after Assemble obv-towned (and flipped Town.) and there wasn't a lot of actual commitment. I kinda get where KTS is coming from and I guess True by extension, but I'm meh on it for reasons I'll expand on below.

: So, I basically walked straight back on my last read leading up to here. The reasons are as follows:

-It's not as strong as I thought going into this, and I'm sure my lack of commitment isn't doing me any favors, but I keep coming back to the part where I Townread him and Tman, and I feel my first two reads weigh more than the second-guessing. :/

-Context. Asuka went from hyper-active and over the top to disengaged over time, as the game constantly stagnated plus the V/LA. What posts he made during this time were entirely reactive and half finished - this seems less strategic and more due to IRL and lack of activity. If he's Scum, he literally gave up over nothing. I don't see this.

I dunno. Responses would be nice now that he's off V/LA and somewhat needed, but I'm extremely frustrated at the current trend towards seeing him as Obv-Scum. It doesn't match my reads. I'm not lynching him before he's had a chance to respond unless it comes down to that or nothing - there's way too much screaming that people are projecting reads onto this slot.

I'll get into my Sil read in detail in a bit, but honestly? The biggest thing is that he was a non-Townread in a field of Townreads.

There are 7 players, 6 excluding me. 2 of them are scum, 4 are Town.

Godel is obv-Town, True has been climbing to the point I won't lynch him. I kept jumping internally at how he and KTS pinged off each other, but realistically he's Town.

That leaves four players. You know my read on Asuka, so that's not quite eliminated but weak. KTS is weak but climbing up and while this is subject to change I don't think it's going to.

That leaves Sil and Burn/Manti. Before now, Burn was a dead slot. My read on Sil has been all over the place but compared to reads I was actually comfortable with I think he's more likely to be scum.

Manti is annoying the crap out of me with the hardcore scumread and chatting around me, but screw OMgUS I think that's actually ridiculous. I dunno, maybe it's mission accomplished but I'm actually flustered. Like, I'm sure my lack of hard commitment isn't doing me any favors, but if it's not obvious that I'm embarrassed and a bit lost this game, I don't know what to say. I will link you to every Town and Scum game I've played if you want. w

I don't see a game where at least one of these two isn't Scum. Asuka has room for questions but

Null-Town: KTS, Asuka
Null-Scum - Sil, Manti.

Pretty sure at least one of my Null-Scum is actually Scum. I talked myself in circles for fifteen minutes and I would appreciate Asuka getting active before I have to go. I'd like to compare my read on his actions with his own words/further actions.

silma scum because when she's town she's engaged and willing to see town perspective in the eyes of those who seem less than town themselves. here she presents herself like she has an ulterior motive to present rather than trying to gamesolve, and there's actually really nothing of value coming from the slot. it's also been inactive when it felt convenient, and silma is actually a pretty good poster when town as i can show from town games. when silma is scum, they like to resort towards being a nicer player and more manipulative which is what i see here. they're trying to lynch easy, underwhelming players characterised by attempting to play nice with the other players towards a specific goal. town silma will spew insults and basically strong arm a lynch they want.

ahsoko tano is also scum because of early day posts, they've disappeared after throwing a bunch of shade, and they've got associations with silma. easy read there.

i just don't have any wim this game tbh, i feel kind of bad about it but i feel like its an all around kinda deal, also that meta doesn't feel correct but im going to get gent to correct it if it is
