JFC, I'm finally caught up and my brain is leaking out my ears. So here's where I'm at

I was really convinced Saix was scum based on his insistence on scumreading me even post-flip. Like, the ridiculous deathtunnel my predecessor had on Vexen, followed by his flipping scum, should have confirmed my slot as town. Yet Saix (replacement notwithstanding) continued to insist I must be scum, which I didn't get. I also reeeeeally didn't like the reluctance to exercise the role and prove that he was town. Now that newSaix is willing to use that ability, I am okay with holding off on lynching him at this particular moment. But if he shoots town I am going to ride that wagon to victory tomorrow.

Zexion I still can't parse but I really don't like that there was never an explanation offered for the post restriction, whether it was fake or not. If it was fake, it was annoying, and if it was real, he should have felt compelled to explain it. How did everyone just forget about that so quickly?? (That and his self-voting at this stage is really starting to bug me)

The Xaldin wagon is ehhh because Saix and Luxord are both on it, and I don't have them sorted yet.

The Demyx wagon is looking best to me because I read Roxas and Marl as town, and him claiming/targeting me isn't enough for me to say he's town because his role could easily APPEAR town while not actually BEING town.

tl;dr - I'm really feeling the Demyx wagon and will happily murder the shit out of Saix tomorrow if his night action tonight doesn't fully exonerate him in my eyes.

Very true, but it was the very insistent nature with which oldSaix was tunneling my slot post-flip, combined with his flat refusal to use his ability without any justification or explanation as to why he wasn't using it, that felt scummy.

Old Saix was afraid of shooting and losing his ability - he figured scum would have something to mess with him and didn't want to lose what he saw as strong town utility in being unkillable town if he didn't have to. While I disagree with the line of thought, it's certainly a believable one.

I also thought that Saix's deathtunnel on Xigbar made more sense than Xaldin dropping the line completely. I thought that Xigbar looked remarkably town before the Vexen flip, and the general push against him seemed entirely paranoid and emotional in a way where I wouldn't expect the feelings to fizzle out completely in the event of a scum flip.

We've been sitting on our hands for five plus days waiting for people to continue to do nothing. This would not be as bad as it is if you (the person so invested in waiting) were actually doing something with the time/the content generated, but you're not. You're just sitting there. The people who have shown interest in catching up have caught up. The day has been going on for almost a month. It's time to get on with our lives.

The flip is what changed his mind. I just don't think that him pushing your slot to the degree that he did and then dropping it completely based on the flip was natural.
