I think that Luca was very quick to get on the case of Hooves, and I don't see mafia bussing in day 1 nevermind the first page. Whilst I don't think any of the posts indicate any players role, if Hooves actively and effectively scum hunts it might be nice to revisit Luca.

As it stands I am willing to put CsBlastoise post down to genuine misunderstanding but i'd like to hear more from him soon.

It's not that I see it coming from scum, more that I don't see why it couldn't come from scum.

I will say Luca makes good points except he misses the obvious point.

Yes I could do this as scum in an attempt to earn town cred, but it would be really risky for me as scum to pull something like this.

It’s hard to play as scum already and drastically changing my play style in a way that attracts attention is a risky move. Scum typically want to blend in. Yes that’s wifom but it’s also true.

It’s possible to town read me but still keep an eye on me. Town reading me early day 1, doesn’t mean that read never changes.

Honestly, this makes me take away the towny points I had given.

I should have qualified that I found the post difficult to see coming from new scum. If Taiho has experience with derpy in particular that erases that thought.

Given you acknowledge the fact it's something you could be townread for, I'd put it down as a more calculated risk.

I'd see it as more Townie behaviour if you just got on with it and played how you wanted without making excuses beforehand, but obviously everyone's different.
