This if true would in fact be us being good. However, you're quite correct to add:
...Me to the list, which introduces a problem.
If we assume that Luxord, Saix, and Xaldin are all town and never-lynching...
...Then, well. We've got three clears. Two die via nightkill. Leaving us with a lylo with one "conf"town alive, and an effective 50/50 shot at finding scum. I mean. That's not
horrible
odds. But it's by far not the best odds. There needs to be a fourth clear. Obviously, each of the four names within consider themselves to be said clear, and presumably all of them hold the same three clears on the three names outside the four. But as that's a subjective measure rather than an objective measure, it's not good enough to win in of itself.
It gives us decent odds. 1/4 chance today, if failing, 1/3 chance tomorrow, if failing, 1/2 chance in 3p lylo. Any success, instant game win.
But I don't like leaving things to chance. I want to guarantee the win. So what I want to do is to get one of the four names within cleared. Thereby guaranteeing that no matter what, we win. (Also, to absolutely locktown Xig/Lux/Saix. They're
effectively
locktown right now, but I want ABSOLUTELY locktown, so as to remove any and all shadows of doubt.)
