My reads have been static for quite a while now. I like maestro's posts. I think grendle's posts are ok. I don't know which of the two it is, since scum maestro is bussing and scum grendle is doing the thing where he doesnt want to SR rubi, both unreadable as it stands. I get that people are suspecting me by PoE, understandable, but at least one of these people are scum. But:

i) On request, I can post a wall on all the scummy things rubi has done, and why he is scum but everyone already knows that, and
ii) I'm not putting a terrible amount of stock into looking for a partner since I think scum is going to kill the wrong person tonight and unintentionally enter autoloss.

It's pretty lame, man. I can't rule out any of these three pairings so I'm just axing the unlikely one.

How much more time must pass before we lynch rubicon?

At the very least, it's a valuable thing for you to do for yourself.

I'd also like to know what you have liked about about Maestro and Grendel, the scum team.

UNVOTE: Rubicon

Fair point, fine.

I've already said Grendel/Awoo is mainly from PoE and paranoia.

Rubicon, you continue to call things the way you see them and then... not act on those impulses? If you're so sure it's me and Grendel, vote one of us. That's what the fucking game is all about, dude. The only reasons you wouldn't do this as you're facing down your own impending lynch is if you A) are Town and actually aren't as sure as you make yourself out to be, or B) you're Scum and you don't want to pseudo-confirm any of us so your partner has a fair shot tomorrow.

Like, you just mentioned this too, so I know it's not something that slipped your mind. You're thinking about it already. I was going to try and test the same thing myself, but nobody voted between my vote and your posts. We don't need to play these mind games; your behavior is enough.

Just in case Awoo and SIV aren't following: essentially, Rubi is suggesting we place votes and then have people come in and post "not Scum!" or something similar that isn't a hammer post, because for some reason that strikes him as an efficient way to search out Scum. It's actually a horrible fucking idea - a good idea, if we're all just dancing around the elephant in the noose, would be to set a time and just end this Day phase. Tomorrow will be easier with the confirmed flip and the associative tells to sort through.

Maestro, you and Grendel have both asked me to take the time to work with and interact with you. I've asked you both questions that are still hanging. We have a week until deadline. There is no reason for me to vote you now, and it would be poor town play for me to do so.

This is a newbie game. If I'm going to be lynched, I hope it will be while I'm demonstrating good town play to the best of my ability. (And you could probably debate whether I've succeeded on that score, but it's still important to me to do my best.)

I'm exactly as sure as I make myself out to be, which as of my post last night to Grendel, is about 80%.

You and Grendel are playing how I would expect you to as the scum team, and Awoo and SIV are acting reasonably townish. That's not 100%, but it's what I feel.

I feel vaguely gaslighted.

You voted me, man. All I can do in that scenario is wait around to be hammered or, if the team is what I currently suspect (you/Grendel) realize that I'm probably not going to be hammered and hope you keep your vote down long enough for SIV and Awoo to clear themselves.

Well, that's either a slip or you're starting to think I'm town. Because if I'm scum, I'm not conf-biased, I'm lying. Right?

I've struggled with confirmation bias for my entire mafia career, and the only solution I've found is to:
- take my time
- force myself to talk to people, even if I think they're scum.
- force myself to reread and interrogate people, even if I think they're town.

If you genuinely think I'm stuck in confirmation bias, help me find the real team.

As Town or as Scum, you thinking or trying to pretend the Scumteam is me/Grendel would be you suffering from bias, and attributing anything that happens in the game as evidence.

Oh my, aren't you trying to solve the game.

Oddly, I might be the only one wanting to back up Rubicon. Personally, I can only read so much more Maestro.
