Did it ever occur to you to try asking the mod the same question Himiko supposedly asked?
I got a different answer.
My logic was that Himiko knew that Nagito wasnt a hider from the get go so i should've been seen visiting him, which would make sense for a Nagito partner, but I was wrong.

If a hypothetical vig shoots a hider, the hider would obviously be safe. The action of the hypothetical vigilante wouldn’t have gone through. Hypothetical Tracker would see the action not go through, thus receiving a “Did not go anywhere.” result, as the hypothetical tracker wouldn’t have been blocked themselves in anyway.

*EDIT: Hide would be similar to how a commuter is, as opposed to a BP being shot.
