And before people jump on that being something only scum say, nah.
Most of being a good townie on this site is being able to towntell yourself, and then getting NK'd or lynched anyway. ("obvious" townie/paranoia)

I think my biggest problem on forum-mafia is that I'm way more "complete" in my communication when I can use facial expressions and actual tone.

I dislike srceen for scum, but he is also one of the guys I think I have never read correctly.
Transcend is taking so much spotlight that I doubt he is scum, but then again, he seems very confident in his own play anyway..
Mulch is town for now. (but he has fooled me just recently, so I don't love him unconditionally anymore)
WhyMafia is scum if he DOESN'T scumread me, and I don't scumread him. If we scumread each other, I can be fairly certain he is town too

Likely one scum in the above, just because I feel like not committing strongly to a read on any of them.

There's more than one scum in the anime-characters, but they all keep mixing and mashing in my eyes..
I'll try to claw the time for ISO'ing them one at a time tomorrow, and maybe I'll be able to distinct them soon.

This was the first post from Nagito to ping me - somehow that "pedit" felt fake and unnecessary.
Like trying to convey a chill attitude, but actually wanting to start diverting attention as soon as possible.

rp aside how do you feel about Transcend? I'm happy to call him scum at the moment, his light shade while doing no isn't helping and is just adding fuel to a fire.

Felt unnecessary, and then a long radio-silence.

So at this point I had a hunch for Nagito and or Maki, and thought that possibly Nagito was buddying Maki.
The other way around, Maki could've been a scum who pops in, gives something little in terms of pointers, and then leaves as not to give away too much.

Also to note: Monaca took no further stance on Nagito, and no stance at all towards Maki.
Monaca joined the conversation, and didn't even try to establish a larger view: she only took sides on the conversations that were already going on.

So three early scumreads, all for somewhat different reasons. I was also trying to be realistic when I said that only one of them likely was scum, but Nagito+Maki or Nagito+Monaca were possibilities in my head.

I can try and point out why I scumread/townread each of you specifically, but that is going to take so much time, I'm not gonna do it at work.

In short:

That is just the kind of player who I am.
I constantly struggle with myself about my reads.
There are times when I'm completely wrong about my them, but pig-headedly keep pushing. And times when I'm so very uncertain even if I have the right reads all the way, and others support them.

All I can say, is that whenever I roll scum on this site (that Traitor-game doesn't count! ) I'm gonna get caught for being too certain about my reads, if anything.

It's really not. My posts should answer your questions. Go back and read them so I don't just end up repeating myself. I admit there is PoE involved but I was definitely scum reading you before now. Reading past this post, I do see that you went back and realized this. If you are town, the mentality in 3101 is your problem. Until you've really mastered some things, dont try to look town as town. Just find scum and let your play speak for itself.

I am NOT trying to look town.
I AM trying to find scum, and hope to come across as town at the same time, but I've learned I sacrifice the latter every time I try to explain the first!

My way of scumhunting is all about analyzing interactions, so often I end up drawing attention to myself, and then observe how people act around wagoning me.
