It occurs to me that there's a non zero chance Maki let Panzer guilty her as his scumpartner.

Maki was weirdly noncombatative when Panzer started pushing on her day 1. She looked for a reason to townread him then didn't really fight back besides to call him bad. Even now she's not really struggling. And the way she's treating Monaca is weird unless she's trying to falsely associate them. Like if she was town who got guiltied by scum she would be fucking pissed. She would definitely fight more than this. If she was scum who got guiltied by town then I guess she has teammates but I'd still expect more than this. But it actually makes sense with Panzers weird deathtunnel on her and hoe little she actually fought back and just tonally the way she talks to and about him is weirdly, like, passive? And I can totally see this being a play that either of them would make.

Like she would have known the level two stuff was scummy I think but if she was trying to make sure Panzer got her lynched successfully, then Panzer is trying to get everyone to make excuses for why he didn't die by mass protecting him.
