Originally, I read his post as another RVS vote, but looking back at again, I see how it could be interpreted as something more serious than that.

aware that there is a reason you're being cryptic, but I don't think continued discussion of such an issue in a vague, nebulous way is productive for town. It allows for too many misunderstandings and confusion. Frank, honest discussion is better, although I'm willing to let the subject rest until more people are comfortable bringing it out into the light.

I prefer things straightforward. I'd rather people say exactly what they mean or not say it at all.
