Wow, not only has Darkblade not replied to my message from a week ago, and not only has he not even opened it, but he hasn't opened the one I sent him on July 16th telling him to quit lurking in Tuthrededmafya.

Right. I think that is justification enough to consider him officially MIA. Let's stop procrastinating and do something.

Can we get a roll call from all active people in this game, and could you all vote on how you wish to proceed:

A) Abandon the game.

There are some advanced workings that I can tell from reading the thread and what roles I have received, so I might need to fudge things up a little.

You might need to PM some dead players to see if they can shed light on the "advanced workings". And Leonidas has disappeared off the face of the earth again. Geesh, he's worse than me. Incredibly.

I was worried about that, Werebear. It would definitely add to the already-too-long wait time if I have to go wake the dead.

Rather than trying to make it work, though, it might be simpler to scrap all of that extra stuff. I'm afraid that if I try to make it work that it might make things muddier than if we just went into "sudden-death" mode and stripped it to only the basic mafia workings. This way, you can try to interperet what had happened previously, while not having to compare what Darkblade did with what I guessed at. Make any sense? Also, if I can't get exact PMs from most people, especially those getting replaced, it would be impossible to get this running back the way it was, anyway, so why bother?

What do you guys think: Should I try to finagle the roles I got to get this started, or just keep on waiting on Leonidas and Someone? It's your game, so it should be your decision.

I've got two replacements already, and I'll start a campaign for the third player once I know where everyone stands on this issue.

The Cadets have decided it was time to stop fooling around and get down to business. While a storm rages on outside, and it approaches midnight, the remaining Cadets have locked theirselves in the mess hall for a final confrontation. It seems that Leonidas and Someone have vanished into the night, probably frightened of the ensuing altercation. It is time.
