I think you're underestimating how badly his injuries sapped him of his abilities. He was obscenely good even not considering his running before he got injured a million times.
youre right.

Kizer leads all rookies in passing yards this season!

However he is dead last among all qualifying QBs this season in QBR...though of course he just outperforms Bryce Petty.

The Giants need to retool their offensive line, good thing Gettleman has a such a strong history of fixing glaring needs in his squads alone the O-Line, right?

I dont think thats true?

I think gettleman is the safe pick, and the one they went with because they like to keep things in house.

but we'll never know because they literally didn't wait til they could interview anyone else!

The 49ers do not have the worst offense in the NFL, especially not since the quarterback change. Both in the eye test and statistically, they are better than the Browns, Giants, Colts, Bengals, Cardinals. Probably more too. Beathard sucks. It's been night and day between Garoppolo and him. Basically everything you have said on this topic has been wrong.

Probably trolling.

He’s been nothing short of amazing. If there is any knock on Jimmy’s start, it’s that he’s yet to make many special throws down the field. He’s been racking up yardage without needing to thread tight windows. He’s made only two big-time throws compared to three turnover-worthy throws through four games.

At the same time though, over 35 percent of Garoppolo’s attempts have received positive grades. That’s an unbelievable rate. Even Brady and Wentz both sit below 30 percent. That’s good company for the young QB.

I mean there were a number of Houston games that came on and Watson did look really good to me. Is he a flash in the pan? A one hit wonder like RG3? Will his injury take away his run game and defenses won't need to worry about him being a dual threat?

Why not instead of trying to talk down to me explain why Watson is so horrible.

I feel like you and Scot have invented this argument that I'm saying that Bethard is better than Jimmy G. Though I do feel like you guys are being much too hard on a 3rd rookie.

We are specifically talking about the 49ers offense pre Jimmy G. How does their receiving corp stack up against the rest of the NFL? Thier 0-line? Of course, your argument is that neither of these are the worst so I guess I've answered my own question. It would be interesting to see what the offensive stats would be like up until Bethards last start.

Of the offenses you've listed that are "worse", they've all had
MAJOR
injuries (save for the Browns who just have shit QB) and I sort of feel like its unfair argument. Of course, losing a starting QB or one of the best WRs in the league or a major RZ threat is going to impact ratings.

Tomorrow the browns shall achieve the imperfect season. I think we could have won a couple games this season since had we played harder in the games where we forced overtime. Did the 2007 lions or 1976 bucs ever go to overtime during their imperfect seasons?

No but the Lions had five one possession games which is the same as the Browns pending tomorrow's game.

I am not a big raiders fan they are the only AFC west team I care for. Our website does have quite a few raiders fan so I think this needs discussed
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000 ... -available
Carr did not come back as strong as people hoped from injury and with their coordinator issues, raiders missed the playoffs this year. They did not miss it by a lot, and I don't think Jack was the cause. So getting rid of him feels like a bad move. Especially since Gruden wants to be with TB.

Tampa already decided they aren't making a coaching change.

Oakland is expected to keep Del Rio if they don't land Gruden.
