I really need to stop avoiding this thread.

I've thought about it for a while and realised the part that bothers me about Yoshi is that they're very cautious with their posting. They always seem to have an alternative reason for why their conclusion might be wrong. This is something I think is more likely to come from scum because it gives them flexibility to bounce to a different read while still having some ground for it in the past and generally scum are more aware of the flaws in their cases than townies are (or else townies wouldn't be voting them). Their vote for Mulch in particular bothered me for this line:

I don't understand why you would blow up like this. This honestly makes me feel it too scummy to be scum, but this has reached a level past THAT.

It reads to me like Yoshi just REALLY WANTS to vote Mulch in this scenario rather than being a genuine reaction to Mulch's posts.

I still don't feel like Flavor Leaf is doing very much even with their drunkposting. I cannot honestly tell why they are scumreading Skitter - 300 posts ago it was because they should have known your meta better, but what has she done since then? You made a big post saying "this was a good post because it's good but doesn't mean anything for alignment" and that's mostly it. Walk me through scum!Skitter because I don't see it at all. Screen is kind of in a similar boat but he hasn't really posted much recently.

I feel better about Seph as the game went on, still don't understand Mulch.

Honestly, that's just who I am and how I play regardless of alignment. I'm extremely self-conscious regardless of alignment. I won't always post what comes to mind because of what I can only call social anxiety. It's weird, that I play this game about communicating with others yet always feel nervous about sharing my thoughts. When I'm comfortable with a person or group of people, this isn't an issue, but the recent... emotion that has been conveyed through the thread isn't helping. I'm still relatively new to mafia (I think this is my 8th? game) and I am 16, and I know both of those characteristics tend to draw some unwanted attention.

Surprisingly, no one has really antagonized me for my age, but I feel like it goes through some of your minds when you interact with me, and it just comes out naturally because you're twice my age and I'm just an inferior teenager on his laptop sitting on his bed.

And some of you who have played with me may notice I tend to sheep often, and that's why. Not making an excuse if I tend to do it this game because I'm working on it, but... yeah.

Part of that paragraph came straight from another site where I played a mafia game (as scum albeit), one player here should recognize it. I used it because it really does epitomize what I want to explain. I don't feel like revealing the site though, so you'll just have to take my word and potentially the word of whoever played with me that game.

I guess I can kinda see what you mean about Yoshi, that he's giving alternate conclusions, but I don't really think he's doing that in order to leave himself an out. I think he's just saying exactly what he thinks. He just seems super transparent to me.

I don't like that stitch came back to a wagon and didn't even bother to comment. Seph, skitter and mulch all feel town to me based on limited meta and their reactions seeming genuine. Frogger also feels town, and transcend is too good for me to read right now. Null on everyone else so I'd say as of right now stitch is my biggest scum read.

Don't want to vote yet as I want to re-read and do an ISO first.
