Happy New year!

I checked this thread an embarrassing number of times while at a LAN party.

I vote not voting Cabd for at least the first day because wisdom posts!

Good morning all. I hope you had a great holiday. I was peeking in, but hardly keeping up over the weekend. I'll try to catch up as work allows today.

Happy New Year, everyone. I'm still around and have no new thoughts since my last post other than, as expected I am still probably dumb.

I would like to hear the reasoning for votes against thenewearth, though.

Sorry to double post here, but, I am jumping off of Locke, still would like a full explanation of votes for thenewearth but:
VOTE: Velox

They random voted cabd and have posted since then, but has taken no action since then.

The posts and in particular, the vote, have been just enough so that without checking the thread, we will think Velox has participated, but they really have not, including sticking to a random vote since the first post.

Happy New Year! I've had a hectic few days, have guests staying over for the holidays so they've taken up most of my attention. I should be free to make a proper post in a few hours though

I moved onto thenewearth to take Locke away from being so far ahead. Her disdain for the third voter seemed odd enough to me to choose her, and not throw the vote completely away by voting for someone at 0 (I bumped her up to 2.) I, mostly, accepted her later explanation that it's not just the third voter, but middle voters in general. I don't have any good justification for switching to anyone else at this point either though.

By the way, when I was making notes of whats been occurring and my current thoughts so I don't have to keep reading the entire thread, I noticed that TheGugaJeans has not actually made a post.

Do we play through someone never posting, or is another replacement found if Guga never shows up?

There's a super helpful button at the bottom right that says "activity overview" that will show you the amount of posts each user has made, the time difference since their last post, and a bunch of other cool stats.

For example here's the one for this thread: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=74429&activity_overview=1
Currently in COVID hell, population: Entire Household

@cabd

My vote on tne was nearly an RVS, over a slight reaction to the unwillingness to wagon Cabd.

I haven't had enough reads to make a serious vote yet.

I feel like that question sounds a lot more useful than it is. How the hell am I supposed to know what scum Cabd would do, lol? Besides try to out survive us all.

The way it would work is that if Guga doesn't post again within the next 24 hours of being prodded then a replacement will have to be found.

I mean both of you are voting over a philosophy, and not a play

That's fair TNE, but there's not much else for content here so far and if philosophy drives conversation, it doubt it can hurt.

I'd like to hear a little more from Velox and Alonzo. Have you guys been keeping up? Anything to add?

Regarding Guga, does anyone have any background on whether someone is more or less likely to quit if they draw the mafia card on their first game?

Well Naucis Reaction to Cabd is a little unique

first the Rvs vote... ok no problem, to a 180 'im not voting Cabd under any circumstance'

Caught my attention!

Vote: BrassHerald

Just an early whisper of desperation in his tone.
