I was waffling on Mulch/FL but I am inclined to believe the neighbor claim. My first thought was that it could be scum using neighbor as a way out but I don't think FL would have come right out and said he just won a scum game with a fake neighbor claim if that was his gambit here (unless he felt someone would check his meta and pre-empted it by doing that, which is WIFOM but would still make the claim risky). My problem now is figuring out who is scum because I now have to re-evaluate their interactions with basically everyone in light of this new information. I was also thinking Seph might be scummy but I think that's just lingering paranoia and that his interactions with mulch/FL are TvT.

I'm glad Transcend at least recognizes that I am lynchbait, and scumread in every game regardless of alignment.

I think it's useful/productive because I was trying to be a coherent town.

Coherent towns do better than divisive ones. I was hoping my reaching out would be a sign of trying to work with you. I know now that trying to work with you means doing things on your own time schedule.

sure, and like I said, it's good enough for me for now. If he's scum he's someone I can sort later when there's more info to go by.

but when people say things that I genuinely would only say as town, I tend to give it weight. It doesn't mean they can't be scum, it just means they'll be harder for me to sort because I put them in my town pile mentally from the start.

I just mean, there are plenty of people to ask about their reads and it seemed odd to me that you would specifically ask me about a read when I had literally just posted I would be writing up all my thoughts later in the day. To me, that seems like something scum would do to appear like their hunting and contributing when they're really not.

For what its worth, my read list was an attempt to bring the town to better cohesion. I'm trying to establish people I would lynch and people I would not lynch and I kind of think its a good idea to do that unless a clear lynch apparates spontaneously.
