What's this about Underdogs?ShowDo I REALLY suck? That's up to you to decide.
Retiring from LSG's and Mish Mash, for the most part. If you want to contact me, I suggest going outside and enjoying what the world has to offer, instead.
Definitely DID suck, in the end...Probably.-

Patriots SOP is to be down at the half, make adjustments and then win in the 4th quarterIn post 1829, PJ. wrote:definitely after halftime when the eagles are down 20-

So what do the Jags do at QB? Most of us (and likely a chunk of the Jags organization) thought Bortles stunk but he's been pretty lights out during the playoffs so do the resign him for X more years?Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Lights out? He played pretty well against New England. He played decent enough in the first half against Pittsburgh. And he was pretty bad against Buffalo. In post 1837, Nero Cain wrote:So what do the Jags do at QB? It depends on your philosophy on the QB position though.
"You can't win Super Bowls without an elite QB"
Look elsewhere.
"It needs to be so bad that change is necessary"
He's fine. Let him stay. But don't give him a long term deal with big money.
"It's like any other position"
Well, they could definitely afford to upgrade then. The defense doesn't need to change much (assuming they keep a couple of key free agents) so it comes down to offense. They get a healthy WR core back (hopefully) and are solid at RB. So your options are line depth, a big name WR across from Robinson (or to replace him if he leaves in free agency), or a QB change.
Another option with Henne leaving is to do something similar to what Kansas City did this year. Go make a move and get a QB you believe could start for you, but leave Bortles as the starter and see if that motivates him to play better. If it doesn't, make the change.KMD is the coolest dude who ever lost a bet to me - vonflare-

So I'm a little disturbed by the following rumor:
Apparently the NFL told the Raiders they could have a favorable ruling on the Rooney Rule situation if they agree to sign Colin Kaepernick.
I took it as a joke at first but legitimate reporters are talking about it now.
If its true...
Just ugh.
Kaepernick isn't a fit for a team who is already paying a franchise QB ridiculous money, especially when he's gonna ask like $20m a year and a starting job and he'd have all the leverage in the world.
Also this situation was so different from most. It wasn't an open search. There was no one, yes including white guys, who had a shot at this job. The opening was only created because Gruden was willing to come back. If anyone should be upset, it's Del Rio, not the black coaches who were never given a shot. Race has nothing to do with it. White coaches didn't have a shot either.
And if this is seriously how Kaepernick finally gets his shot, you're basically implying that either:
- black players aren't good enough to get a job on their own so you have to force teams to take them or
-the league DID collude and this is the best damage control they could come up with.
I'm just venting and I apologize if anything can be taken as offensive. I'm just very upset at even the possibility of this being true because I like Carr and I don't see any way they can carry both players.KMD is the coolest dude who ever lost a bet to me - vonflare-
