Because scumTranscend townGamma makes more sense than TownTranscend ScumGamma. I've seen Transcend fakeclaim as town but it was extremely anti-town play and I don't think he would do it again as a rule unless he is playing against his win condition.

He literally fake claimed a guilty on a recent game as town to the point everyone knew he was faking it but followed anyways.

Transcend was straight up fire that game.

Why would he not do it again? Transcend might do some anti-town things, but it’s not like he doesn’t play to win. I feel like you know this. You’ve seen him fake claim as town. He gambits and gets reads that way.

Well if it's a damned if i do damned if I don't scenario there's not much I can do about that. I'm going to lynch my scumreads not null reads or townreads unless someone presents a really good case.

So you want to sit and wait around to let other people do the work and not present a “really good case” yourself? You literally have NAI, and if anything, your Transcend reasoning makes me town read him more.

This has been a thing I’ve been trying to add to my game because there’s a lot of annoying and stubborn pointless pushes people do that no matter what the person does, it’s not going to change the read, which is horrible. People should always be reevaluating their reads, especially if they can’t even explain them.

it's that when he's town he clearly makes an effort. i have never seen glorified prod dodges as part of his town MO. in this game when he is here, he's not doing anything.

Why would anyone follow your lead when you avoid questions and have completely no case for anything? Literally every single point you make has no actual merit to it because you push NAI as scummy, then don’t care after it’s explained that that’s nothing. You keep it as a reason.

My reasoning is he's lurking and I've seen him do that as scum recently. If he says he does everything as scum so that means it's not scummy, then that tells me he cares more about meta building than scumhunting which is inherently scummy.
