Which brings us to this post by Firebringer. "I have no idea what his method of reading me is." Why do you bring that up as town? It just seems so, so much more likely to be something at the forefront of your mind as scum, when you know you have to say the person can read you but you feel like you want to discredit them in case they turn against you.

Obviously can't say if you're onto something here or not, but I love this kind of "creative thinking"!

I honestly think these are the kind of situations where scum are vulnerable to nitpicking.

I got to page 25 by refusing to read the hyperposters (left me ~2 posts a page I actually had to care about).

Tora and Spiff I need to do more to read but Tora went onto ignore pretty quickly as well. I will put the work in there later.

Ginngie feels maybe scum as well. I want to Iso him first though.

Transcend Iunno, gonna hold off there until I reread the replacement with Eddie. Fb I have no read on either atm.

I think Kagami and Chara said things in there too but sere not very memorable. Iirc from last night before I got torn away from this that did leave me a townier vibe from Kagami's tone and a scummier vibe from Chara's.

Ok so I started rereading and I guess I'll post thoughts as they come to me

The first thing that really sticks out to is Una's response to Transcend asking for reads:

I think mulch is so high on coke or just spasming from excitement, that it's hard to accurately tell whether his rambling has been AI.
Because I think this has been SO HYPER, even from him, it actually might be AI.
Firebringer might be town just because RC replaced out (I think scum!RC would've seen some easy prey in this game).

Chara and Spiffeh are ??? to me.

implosion just popped in, hasn't given me any impressions yet.
Spiffeh made like two posts, but I think he is going to be a hard one. Same with chara.
I've seen two games from Aristophanes, two from Cabd. Neither has spoken in this one yet, but I think I can try do some analyzing with them.
Ginngie I've seen twice too, not sure if I can read her at all though.
Patrick, Kagami, Kmd4390 and Cheetory6 are strangers to me and haven't spoken yet.
Toranaga I've seen once, in a game I would like to forget, so not taking anything from there.

Going through literally everyone on the playerlist, even if they haven't posted yet, was unnecessary and looks like he's going above and beyond to get Transcend's approval

I also think his opening to the thread in general is just awkward

Transcend sounds tonally town but his early push on Mulch is kinda bad

For someone to have claimed to been in several games with Mulch in the past it seems like he's working really hard to find contradictions in what Mulch is saying when it doesn't seem that Mulch contradicting himself is all that alignment indicative

I agree and the Mulch vs Transcend thing is why I am holding off on reading Transcend as of yet. I don't know if he would do that push as scum though. It seems wholly unnecessary.

Context: Kagami said Transcend is town and one of the reasons for that read was because Mulch is a push that would be bound to go poorly for him.

I completely disagree with this, Mulch is the LOWEST of the hanging fruit and I don't see where Kagami would get that Transcend would be able to push someone who hadn't posted much vs. pushing Transcend when their back and forth basically proved why Mulch would be a perfect target for scum to push

Like addressing this post to Mulch rather than people scum reading him looks like he's more concerned with getting Mulch on his side rather than explaining to others why their read on Mulch is wrong

Tora is really stubborn as town. There was something that he was unwilling to budge on that reminded me a lot of his play in Alisae's latest mish mash game.
Though he definitely needs to start getting invested again because my townread is downgrading to a townlean at this point.

I'm not voting ari and I know we're never lynching ari with one post. I wanted to see people push me for it to test a point that actually pushing LHF would be read as sketchy, so scum!transcend would be smart not to.

Context: Toranaga mentions wanting to lynch Ari based on his inactivity and when people ask him why this is his response

i disagree that Toranaga didn't make that Ari post on purpose. what reason is there for scum to say "i could lynch this" and then be unable to defend why but have a good excuse for it?
