Never thought I would play a game with THREE people who start with a V.
Also, I know Paradox, Almost, Gamma, and North. I'm still relatively new. By 2019 I expect to have kicked all your asses in one way or another.

I feel like recruiting players you like is probably not what a cult leader would do. Wouldn't the best move strategically to be recruiting experienced players?
Like, for example, you definitely shouldn't recruit me, because I obviously have no idea what I'm doing. But Venmar makes sense as a recruit, because he's an older player on the site and so would probably have an easier time sorting PRs.
And also, what does all of this speculation do for us at all? It doesn't help us to say who we would want to recruit, because no ever actually sees who has been recruited. It's pretty much NAI."Do I have permission to....refute some of the bs that Inferno just spewed out?"--TywinL

Your first point is valid. It's good to offer how you would recruit because when we CL hunt we can use these cult-read-list-things to try and spot links later on. Like if everyone does this D1 before the cults are bigger we might be able to compare ideals and take an educated guess based on any further info we have. This would also benefit competing cults also.In post 231, Inferno390 wrote:I feel like recruiting players you like is probably not what a cult leader would do. Think of it as another piece of the puzzle.-

Hmm. That's an interesting way to look at it.
In that case, I'm not sure who I would recruit. I'd have to think about that."Do I have permission to....refute some of the bs that Inferno just spewed out?"--TywinL

I'll play the game however it goes, tbh. If the recruitment takes priority over immunization though then there's NO WAY neutrals can win it. Every single person we wagon would either be already immune or already culted or available for to be culted. Finessing won't work either since: a) the idea is already out in the open, and b) you need to finesse TWO not just one side.In post 150, Cerberus v666 wrote:@Varsoon: Would you rather play as a survivor and win the hard way, or be recruited?
This question goes to everyone who I've played with before. Well, anyone can answer it, but I'm specifically concerned with the responses of people who I'm familiar with.
If that's the case then there must be other "unknown" factors, and with the explicit announcement that once the alignment changes it cannot be further changed then there's no "vanillaizer" either.
What then? A RB? An immunizer (on top o the voting process)? A Vig, maybe?
Modded 2 Opens & 2 Large Themed games successfully.-

Someone really good, like Boon or Varsoon or maybe Almost50, as long I think they're recruitable. In post 238, CheekyTeeky wrote:

Except you fucking didn't actually properly communicate my point? You spun that as though I was QUESTIONING whether or not you were doing anything, when what I was doing was questioning inferno on the town benefit to REVEALING the fact that you were doing something.
COMPLETELY different meaning between what you chose to quote, and what I actually said.
Don't fucking do it again.GTK a me, currently live, this may be your only chance!

Subject: Rocky Horror Picture Show - (FULL!) - PM to replace/observe
drealmerz7 wrote:do note that during the game I won't answer questions posed to me in the thread
Yes, the immunity is permanent and becomes in-effect the moment the majority vote is placed - any player voted to majority, even if they are unable to be given immunity due to any reason (which includes the cult leader and players already recruited), will cause the game to switch to the Pause state, triggering the queue of actions submitted during Play to resolve in order.
This means if playerA is a cult leader and submits the action to recruit playerX on 12:00pm Oct.1, 2020 and the majority vote for immunity is placed on playerX 12:01pm Oct.1, 2020, the vote will cause the game to go into the Pause state, but (assume nothing in the queue prior to 12:00 interferes with playerA) the recruitment will happen before the immunization and therefor the immunization will be void.
This means nothing happens to a cult leader or cultist if they are voted to immunity, but there is no indication of if the vote is effective or not.
There is a limited # of times players may be voted to immunity, but that # is hidden due to the fact that the information could be used to track. This means that, likely, at a certain point the vote for immunity mechanic will no longer be ieffective but I will not take it out of the game so there is no indication of the pace of effective immunization.GTK a me, currently live, this may be your only chance!

Anyways, if people want to immunize me, then I recommend if anyone has a PR that would allow them to make sure I'm not recruited, they should use it NOW, and we can move on. That way the last minute recruit thing won't work, and they'll be forced into recruiting me NOW if that's what they want to do.GTK a me, currently live, this may be your only chance!

haven't we already figured out that voting for immunization doesn't actually guarantee people as town, because cult leaders can just recruit them before the vote goes through?
with that in mind, why are people still voting as if it works?-

NSG, voting someone into being immune is the only way we progress the game, which is the only way we progress towards a winnable gamestate.-

don't like this, feels kind of like railroading both the immunization and any anti-recruit prs onto yourself while we're still pretty early in the game.In post 246, Cerberus v666 wrote:Anyways, if people want to immunize me, then I recommend if anyone has a PR that would allow them to make sure I'm not recruited, they should use it NOW, and we can move on.
