(mayfield, allen, darnold) fringe on rosen,l. jackson. there's probably someone im forgetting that could flesh out but yeah.
my logic is baseless and based on previous drafts, so i'm probably incorrect with what i say.

If it's okay to discuss this in full, I'm down.

Front what I've heard and what I've seen, Darnold sucks. He seems to be a "high character" guy but his mechanics and arm are iffy and he has confidence and decision-making issues. I think he's second worst guy of the top 5 at best and the fact he's thinking about staying in school makes me think that he thinks so too.

I like Lamar Jackson a lot. He got accuracy issues but big arm and big athleticism. I think he's the 2nd or third best of the top 5 guys. Heisman winner, carried a bad team on his back. He's real good.

I'm not gonna pretend I've watched a ton of Josh Allen games but he strikes me A LOT like Bortles. Looks like a QB, talks like a QB, but if he's this big can't miss prospect why was he in a run first offense for a small school? Every other QB beside Mayfield threw the ball greater than 10 times per game more than Allen did and Allen threw the ball considerably shorter per completion (notably half the distance Baker Mayfield was throwing per completion). Everything I read about the guy says he supposed to be some big dick gunslinger like Roethlisberger or Smokin' Jay Cutler but his stats say Blaine Gabbert. I could be wrong, but he looks like a trap on paper.

Baker Mayfield looks like the guy people talk about when they are talking about Josh Allen. A lot of his criticism is he's undersized with an average arm, but the guys seems to have incredibly accuracy and I've never seen him short a deep ball. He's listed at 6'2, so unless there are shananigans going on there, him being small is likely overstated (Jimmy G, Aaron Rodgers, Dak Prescott, and Andy Dalton are all 6'2 and Romo was as well). I think him and Jackson are 2-3 and well ahead of Allen and Darnold.

Rosen is the best. He'd have been the best last year. He'll be the best next year if he stays in school to tell the Browns fuck you. He's a can't miss prospect. Mechanics are great, arm is great. The problem with him seems to be that he's a prick and there is a concern he's not a leader. I think some of that is he's an opinionated, already rich white kid from California and he speaks his mind about shit. Pretty sure he's an outspoken anti-trump guy and he has definitely threatened to not play for the Browns even saying he'd stay in school if he thought they'd pick him. We'll see about his attitude as he grows up a bit more, but his mechanics and his talent scream franchise player. This guy should be good for a very long time if he's not secretly Ryan Leaf 2.0.

Bro, every year is the best qb prospects of a generation and the deepest draft class in the last 5 years. Don't you know that?

In reality, it's rare to have 5 qbs receiving first round grades and that makes this by default the year of the QB but that doesn't mean all these guys are gonna be successful. The last year to even have 4 QBs drafted in the first round was 2012. 2011 had 4 as well and 2 more in the very beginning of the 2nd round.

2012 was luck, rg3, tannehill, and weeden.

2011 was newton, locker, gabbert, ponder, with Dalton and Kaep being the top of the 2nd.

It is, my point is not all these guys are gonna be successful. That's what I was trying to illustrate with bringing up 2011 and 2012.

The other two times in the last 20 years that 4 QBs were drafted in the 1st round, beside 2011 and 2012, were 2003 and 2004. I'll get to 2004 later, but 2003 had Carson Palmer, Byron Leftwich, Kyle Boller, and Rex Grossmen. The only time 5 were drafted in the 1st in the last 20 years was 1999: it was Tim Couch, Donovan McNabb, Akili Smith, Daunte Culpepper, and Cade McNown. So there is always gonna be bust, probably multiple in the year of the qb. Even in 2004, which was the best 4 QB 1st round ever, the 4th guy drafted was JP Losman. So the BEST CASE SCENARIO, where 3 of these guys are 15 year starters with multiple pro bowls and 2 of those are multiple super bowl winners, one of these guys is still gonna be JP Losman.

The good news is one of those guys is ALWAYS a real player. And that's gonna be Rosen.

except you wont be able to afford the rest of the team

it seems you either have to get a Brady discounted QB or win with a backup or QB on their rookie deal

I'm not sure what your point was, as you didn't state one. But 3 notable philly events are left out.
