Idk if I should scumread you for being scummy or townread you because you recently played heaps better than this as scum. Head, out of arse, in to a higher gear, and lets not be stupid and derail-y.

You don't know if its scum math or town math, so you vote him? (happily!?) Or is that posting progression supposed to be your evolution into believing it was scum math?
So I've been thinking about deathnotes 171 over the weekend. First take of it felt towny, but didn't answer everything. I took a closer look at it today and the reason everything wasn't addressed is because he responded to my earlier "less descriptive post" and not my later "more explained post". I get town vibes from this part:BUT I hate how he is just death tunneling his reads from that one wagon, and HE is calling them lazy town or scum.In post 171, DeathNote wrote:I'm interested in Vax swapping from Godel to me after my post. I would say it's too clever for scum to immediately pop off a shit wagon like that and onto the person calling them out, especially since I honestly believe Vax thinks I was scummy.
Keeping my vote here for now, I'd like to see more from them.

Post 213:
Saying "math is playing like shit" is a great way for scum to vote someone and then back off if they need to the town/scum comments just seems like theater to show us they are "thinking" about it. The last sentence reads to me: Guys godel was a shit wagon, don't scum read me for saying so, I'm not going to analyze people alignments like deathnote! In post 213, Espeonage wrote:Math why are you playing like shit?

What do you mean "dismissal"? Like not voting him? 1 of 2 things will happen, they will be forced to participate more or be replaced. I feel way more comfortable reading assemblers alignment once they participate more rather than an unknown replacement, but if we don't get that participation from him, then we will get a replacement. Do you really want to lynch a lurker that bad?
If your argument is that we just need to be telling him he should post more... how is that going to help anything? He is going to post or he is not.
Look through espeonage's iso, it is pretty devoid of game content or original opinions.
People complain about Assemble.
Assemble attempts to do something.

going off of Vaxx, Espeonage's posts on page 9 are upon scrutinybad. i think what vaxx didn't mention but rubs me the wrong way the most is espeo's vote and jump onto mathdino, which reads like oppourtunistic and sheeping the gamestate. just bad feels all-around around the timing and tone of that vote in general.
@vaxx- that said, i'd like to hear your thoughts on why you think math is town? anything to comment on the posts and points i and cooldog have made on him?
sorry if i don't immediately believe you there since #198 is vague and reads more like you getting caught up in the anti-lurker sentiment. In post 221, Sir Elton Hercules John wrote:besides, it was him saying "but you guys I have to figure out how to use all these tasty tasty powers first" not him lurking that I took issue withDon't @ me.-

I skimmed but I remember reading something about my stance on DeathNote's take ont he Godel wagon.
I'm not going to arbitrarily assign numbers of alignments on an RVS wagon and use that as a scumhunting tool because that would be stupid to put stock in to.
As for Var v Ven, I found nothing of use in it other than Varsoon appearing to have a town mentality to safety and gamesolve. The rest is of no use in reading their alignments.Don't @ me.-

Because that would also require unvoting Godelslot, who I'm still waiting for content from after all this time. If I unvoted people I have no content from just because I got distracted by a shiny new wagon (that I'm not actually scumreading), the early pushes I do would have no meaning. In post 234, Vaxkiller wrote:Mathdino can you explain why you have to interact with someone to vote them?
I'm also bothered by the vernacular "lock that in" as if its a given you will vote but you are waiting, maybe I'm over thinking that tho.
"Lock that in" means "lock that read in". As in, I could go either way. Not that I'm necessarily going to support that wagon.
Yes, I'm aware of that actually, and I thought Godel would've come back around like page 5 or 6 to talk about the wagon composition and make it worth it.In post 249, Espeonage wrote:You have to have known your Godel wagon was effectively an RVS wagon. There was no substance to it, and yet you treated it as something profound which is wasn't.
I'm definitely open to a discussion to get our minds in sync though, because you asre completely correct in there being almost no substance in this game thus far.
I'm not going to get in to a meta thing here either. We're barely out of rvs because nothing of note has actually happened here.
If you wanna quote posts where it looked like I thought it was some profound thing, go ahead. Early pushes don't usually last this long. Inactivity has kinda killed my momentum.
What are you interested in talking about?-

Re: Assembler: We just all went over how setup spec in lieu of real content this late is unhelpful. Does Assembler get a pass because we expect less of him as a player? The fact remains that by saying "HEY I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING BUT I CANT TALK ABOUT IT" provides nothing to the game.
Like, I'm not suggesting he's scum for it; he keeps getting mislynched for this shit over and over. But suggesting we're being unfair is... unfair.
Re: Var vs Ven: That's literally the exact point I was trying to get across by calling it all garbage.
Re: Godel replacement: I'd still feel like shit about unvoting a slot that I found vaguely scummy just because things are stalling. Gonna wait until content from Kublai and then reevaluate.
Alternatively, if you have any other compelling wagon ideas, I'm listening. I just don't see anything good enough right now.-

how about gamma/hebichan
i could jive with the idea that if godel is town, one of gamma/hebi is scum
problem is i can't really tell which one-

I now know you think i am vote worthy which is more info i had the before. I also know that dino has conflicted views about hebi gamma being scum which i find more interesting if he flips scum.Looking for love in Alderaan places.-

FIRST
post of the day
tbh i was townreading both gamma and hebi apart from their godel votes
but the way they both followed the wagon pinged me in succession
i guess that's also weird if godel is scum, but if godel is scum it just seems probabilistically less likely for scum to 100% be on that wagon with 15p
regardless, like i agree most of my reads are useless right now but i can't really flesh them out privately, isn't my style-

When does the time come, Deathnote? At what point do you give up on the wagon you're chasing that has only your vote on it and go with the one that's more likely to end in a lynch?
