So I've been thinking about deathnotes 171 over the weekend. First take of it felt towny, but didn't answer everything. I took a closer look at it today and the reason everything wasn't addressed is because he responded to my earlier "less descriptive post" and not my later "more explained post". I get town vibes from this part:

I'm interested in Vax swapping from Godel to me after my post. I would say it's too clever for scum to immediately pop off a shit wagon like that and onto the person calling them out, especially since I honestly believe Vax thinks I was scummy.

BUT I hate how he is just death tunneling his reads from that one wagon, and HE is calling them lazy town or scum.

Keeping my vote here for now, I'd like to see more from them.

I'm not a big fan of meta, scummy stuff is scummy, and it's the best I've got right now.

Saying "math is playing like shit" is a great way for scum to vote someone and then back off if they need to the town/scum comments just seems like theater to show us they are "thinking" about it. The last sentence reads to me: Guys godel was a shit wagon, don't scum read me for saying so, I'm not going to analyze people alignments like deathnote!

What do you mean "dismissal"? Like not voting him? 1 of 2 things will happen, they will be forced to participate more or be replaced. I feel way more comfortable reading assemblers alignment once they participate more rather than an unknown replacement, but if we don't get that participation from him, then we will get a replacement. Do you really want to lynch a lurker that bad?
If your argument is that we just need to be telling him he should post more... how is that going to help anything? He is going to post or he is not.

Look through espeonage's iso, it is pretty devoid of game content or original opinions.

I skimmed but I remember reading something about my stance on DeathNote's take ont he Godel wagon.

I'm not going to arbitrarily assign numbers of alignments on an RVS wagon and use that as a scumhunting tool because that would be stupid to put stock in to.

As for Var v Ven, I found nothing of use in it other than Varsoon appearing to have a town mentality to safety and gamesolve. The rest is of no use in reading their alignments.

Because that would also require unvoting Godelslot, who I'm still waiting for content from after all this time. If I unvoted people I have no content from just because I got distracted by a shiny new wagon (that I'm not actually scumreading), the early pushes I do would have no meaning.

"Lock that in" means "lock that read in". As in, I could go either way. Not that I'm necessarily going to support that wagon.

You have to have known your Godel wagon was effectively an RVS wagon. There was no substance to it, and yet you treated it as something profound which is wasn't.

Re: Assembler: We just all went over how setup spec in lieu of real content this late is unhelpful. Does Assembler get a pass because we expect less of him as a player? The fact remains that by saying "HEY I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING BUT I CANT TALK ABOUT IT" provides nothing to the game.
Like, I'm not suggesting he's scum for it; he keeps getting mislynched for this shit over and over. But suggesting we're being unfair is... unfair.
